Nathan chuckled looking at the little girl who was a head shorter than him and was trying to figure out his intentions for being here, stretching out his hands he pulled her into a tight hug.

He missed her a lot for two weeks and he was finally back home, he could be with her now without worry...Kylie was dumbstruck at what just happened, he was hugging her very tightly like a little kid who missed his mom and he had the mind to hug her without her permission.

she struggled to pull away from him but he refused to let her go, hitting him on his back for a long time ...he finally let go of her and stared at her...like he had done nothing wrong.

" How dare you pull me into a hug without my permission, " Kylie asked him with a fierce expression on her face, she was visibly annoyed at his behavior.

" If I asked for your permission, would you let me hug you...how I want to " Nathan fired back at her with a giggling expression on his face.

" that..that.maybe I would " Kylie muttered her face burning red from embarrassment, he was turning the tables against her how dare he?

" then can I hug you again?? " Nathan teased with a smile on his face, he just so loved teasing her so so much.

" No you can't, just one hug a day " Kylie mumbled trying to hide her face behind the door.

" so you mean I can hug you at least once every day, " Nathan asked with a cocked brow.. oh! how he loved teasing her...he loved it when her expression was all red.

" I didn't say that, just stop complicating and twisting my words already " Kylie muttered as the red color spread from her face to her neck " if you don't tell me why you are here, am gonna lock the door in your face " she added to wipe the embarrassment away from her face.

" Well, I came here because, I wanted to see you and because I have something to give to you " Nathan muttered with a straight face, he didn't want to tease her anymore...he was satisfied with today's result.

" So? where's what you want to give to me and why are you gifting me something, " Kylie asked raising her brow in curiosity...she looked at him with a suspicious gaze, was he here to give her something but she had everything she could ever ask for be it money, clothes or jewelry.

Nathan smiled at her question and bend down to pick up the bag which leaned on the wall...standing up he handed it over to her looking at her with a smile coloring his lips " hope you doubt my intentions now " he mumbled.

" I didn't doubt you, I was just being careful " Kylie muttered with a tiny voice trying to defend herself....taking the bag from his outstretched hand " what's inside the bag?? " she asked trying to avoid the topic.

" open it and find out "

" Okay "

Kylie gazed curiously at the bag and opened it...after opening the bag she found a jewelry box inside raising her head to look at Nathan she asked " you bought me jewelry "

" Not just any jewelry, just go ahead and open it " Nathan muttered looking at the young girl before him.

Kylie nodded, brought out the box, and opened it....she was surprised at what was inside...inside was a silver teardrop twist necklace, bracelet, and earrings that had mixed colors of purple.....

WOW!!!

Kylie was surprised by the jewelry which was known as the forever flower, it was made by a Chinese woman in the 1800s and it had not been found since then....this was the perfect piece for an evening gown for today....she couldn't find any matching jewelry for that gown and now this...it was so perfect.

Nathan smiled looking at the happy expression on her face, he was happy he could bring a smile to her face...he had picked out this jewelry from the collection he had from all the jewels that were being used for buying and selling in the underworld.

Kylie cleared her throat, looked up at the smiling man with a mini straight face, and uttered a

" thank you "

" Welcome, see you later okay Darlin,g, " Nathan said kissing her forehead and walking away with his hands in his pocket.

Kylie stood dumbstruck at what he had just done, snapping out of her thoughts...she sighed and muttered " am only going to forgive you because you got me a gift " and banged the door behind her....she walked inside to keep her gift.

Julie climbed out of the car with her bag and rushed toward the elevator, pressing on the elevator....she rushed into the elevator...it was 5 minutes before 1 hour gets completed and she didn't want to get spanked by Kylie.

Stepping out of the elevator she rushed toward Kylie's apartment and typed in the passcode, peeking if Kylie was in the living room...when she did not see her...she rushed in only for her legs to hit various cans on the floor.

Groaning in helplessness now she knew why Kylie invited her over to her house, pouting her lips she went to find Kylie....walking into the kitchen she saw Kylie whipping a bowl of ice cream, she glared at her friend who was enjoying herself without a care in the world.

" Innocent Virgin, you are being unfair " she muttered as she strolled into the kitchen dumping her bag on the dining table.

" Well, all is fair in love and war " Kylie replied as she continued whipping her ice cream without a care in the world.

" But I can't clean this whole place by myself and cleaning isn't loved and war " Julie whined.

" it is because dirt rivals cleanliness and it is also known as war, " Kylie said picking up her bowl and walking into the kitchen.

" the vacuum is over there, make it snappy let's get dressed to ruin an engagement " Kylie muttered with a cold smirk spread across her lips.
