The final reading for Arthur's accuracy test is 96%. It means he has followed the foreign mana's speed and location with accuracy.

A new world record!

When Arthur opens his eyes, he sees the shock face of Cornelius, the receptionist, and other people. 'Did I perhaps do anything wrong?'

Cornelius approaches Arthur. "Congratulations on breaking the world record for this test!"

Cornelius is overjoyed as this is the first time that an extraordinary genius has registered in this Magic Tower. All Magic Towers have an area that are under their jurisdiction. As such, it is an honor for a Magic Tower if there is a talented magician in their jurisdiction.

Arthur looks at Cornelius and he understands now why the System has stopped him from perfectly following the foreign mana. He has unknowingly broken the record for this test. This magician examinations are internal affairs of the towers as such no one will be able to hear about these records including Arthur.

If the System has not stopped Arthur, he can probably get 100% accuracy and shock the entire magic community. The system has told him that it will attract unnecessary trouble if he continues even if he has a different identity.

Arthur cannot help but follow what the System says as he has sloppily followed the foreign mana after the warning.

"Thank you, Lord Cornelius. It is just luck." Arthur scratches his head as he doesn't know what to do in situations like this. After all, he is unaware of these records until now.

Cornelius is trying to stop himself from asking Arthur to be his disciple but his mouth has failed him. "Arthur, do you want to be my disciple?"

The people who heard this are shocked as they know that the Tower Head has never accepted a disciple for a long time. Though, it is understandable since the person in front of them is an Indigo talent with 96% accuracy in controlling their mana flow. Not only does Arthur have a potential to become a Sage but also the ability to reach it in a faster rate as accuracy is necessary in cultivating one's magic and in advancing his rank as a Magician.

"I will think about it." Arthur doesn't want to directly reject him and he has done his best to be as polite as he can be.

Cornelius understands his intention and cannot help but nod his head in approval. "Actually, I am trying to get you to be my disciple before your data is sent to the Great Magic Council. If they are interested, one of the Sages will take you in as their disciple."

Arthur is shocked as he understands more why the System says that what he is doing can bring him trouble. He will attract the attention of the Seven Sages! This is not a part of his plan and rejecting these old geezers will cause him more trouble than rejecting Cornelius.

"Then, I want to be your disciple." Arthur has to resolve this issue since getting the attention of the Sages is enough. He doesn't want to add more to it by becoming a disciple to one of them.

Cornelius has not saw this change coming. He has initially thought that he will want to be taught by one of the Sages and this is the reason why Arthur replied to him that way but it seems like he cannot read this young man? After all, once you already have a teacher, only death can separate the master and the disciple.

Arthur has been thinking of a suitable excuse before he breaks into a smile. "I really don't want to leave the Asure Kingdom if they ever become interested."

Such a simple yet talented young man! This is what Cornelius has thought and he will probably cough blood if he hears the real reason why.

"I understand your worries. I will ask you one last time. Are you sure you want to be my disciple?" Cornelius has to admit that he is very aggressive at first in his approach and now he wants to make sure that Arthur really gives his consent.

"Yes, I am sure. How do I become one? I only have a few conditions." Arthur says to Cornelius.

Cornelius gives an odd-looking stone to Arthur. "You can drop your blood in here whenever you are ready. Tell me your conditions."

"I want freedom in studying and I can come anytime to you for any question. In return, you can also call me whenever there are emergencies. How about it?" Arthur wants to keep his freedom and this is the main reason why he doesn't want to be fully involved with the Sages. Plus, one of them is potentially the murderer of his father.

"If that is the case, then I am happy to follow those conditions. I will also give you books that you can read on your own." Cornelius continues to see Arthur in a positive light as he can see that Arthur is fond of self-studying.

Arthur smiles as he pokes a small hole on his finger and drops a few droplets of his blood on the stone. It shines as Cornelius also confirms that he is officially registered as his teacher. Although this can be revoked but not many magicians will do this as this act is disrespectful. Unless there is a misconduct from the teacher, it will be better to stay with only one master.

"Thank you, Lord Cornelius." Arthur bows his head and heaves a sigh of relief. If Cornelius has not told him about his records being sent to the council, he will be in big trouble.

"You can just call me master." Cornelius replies.

Soon, Cornelius leads Arthur to the last place and test for him to become an officially registered magician.

In this room, there is a table and there are differently colored stones on top of it. "Your next test is simple. These stones will tell what elements you have an affinity for."
