46. Intruder

The heartache and humiliation that Chelsea felt made her hatred even greater for Zalina. She thinks Jasper has changed after getting to know Zalina. Jasper had never acted like that toward her before.

Jasper invites Zalina into his study. He approached the mahogany table, which had lots of papers to turn on the light above it. Jasper glanced and smiled briefly at Zalina, although his face still looked hard after talking to Chelsea.

"Jasper, what were you two talking about? Chelsea kept looking at me the whole time she was talking to you," asked Zalina.

"She talks nonsense like she knows everything about me and your life. You must know how she is, Sweetie."

"Then why do you look angry at her?"

"She said I deliberately approached you because I wanted to take advantage of you."

"Just like she told me."
