With Zalina's abilities, their adventure begins. Jasper and Zalina solve several cases that occur around them. Slowly the love between Zalina and Jasper grows, but they are two different beings.

"You are greedy and cruel, Simon. You have caused wars and destroyed innocent creatures. You must accept the punishment."

Simon groaned as he tried to get up, but he didn't have the strength to do it. He could only lay weak and thought it might be time for him to die.

He then looked at the older man who was looking at him. With a smirk on his bloodied lips, he said, "Punish. I'm ready to die."

"Dead? No. Your punishment is not death but the pain of loss. And when you meet your descendant, they will receive a curse."

Simon chuckled at the older man's words. He didn't have anything of value in his life, so why was he afraid of losing? After all, Simon has not and will never love a woman. How could he have descendants?

"This is easy." Simon grinned before finally closing his eyes.

"I have my way, and you don't need to teach me how to sacrifice. I love Zalina more than my life, but I don't want to part with her because if I die, Zalina will be sad and hurt," said Jasper.

Simon then replied to Jasper's words while trying to release Jasper's hands from his neck. "Her grief is only temporary. After that, she can move on with her life."

"Then how about you? How long did it take to forget Eleanor? Was it easy to do that?" Jasper asked.

Hearing Eleanor's name, Simon's feeling tingled with pain in his chest. After hundreds of years have passed, Eleanor still reigns in Simon's heart. The hardest thing in Simon's life was to forget his love. Therefore, Simon wants to keep the proof of their passion for remaining eternal. Their offspring is proof of the love between Simon and Eleanor, and now only Zalina is left.
