worrying about Daisy

The sun shone into Daisy's room, which was dark because no lights were on. The girl lay blankly staring at the window, but on her mind was how she had been tortured by Jacob last night. She looks so pathetic with bruises on the corners of her lips and temples, her face looks dull and her hair is messy, and only wears a dress with open sleeves and a blanket.

Check...

Daisy turned her head towards the door and saw Clarissa coming toward her at a slow pace. The girl didn't move an inch, feeling pain all over her body.

"Daisy, last night I was waiting for you but you didn't come. Did you serve Mr. Orlando until morning?" Clarissa asked, sitting on the edge of the bed. "I didn't serve him well, in fact, I put him in big trouble," Daisy replied with a faint smile, imagining last night's intercourse with Orlando, but not the pleasure they got, but the pain of attacking each other.

"Then what happens?" Clarissa asked in amazement, she doesn't remember what happened last night. Because she fell asleep right after the doctor injected her.

"I bit his gun, strangled him, and even grabbed his hair..that night we fought in bed while doing a very wild union. Now I can't get out of this bed, my whole body hurts," Daisy explained casually. "But I feel very satisfied because I'm sure after this he won't be able to make love for a few days, then he will have to hide the wound from his wife. That must have pissed him off," she continued.

"Daisy ... That's crazy," Clarissa said in surprise.

"And it's even crazier if I do what he wants and make him happy. I don't want to see him smile triumphantly, not at all ... I'd rather be in pain," Daisy said, then shifted her position because her ass was hot.

"But madam must be mad at you, then ask Jacob to torture you," Clarissa said, then turned on the light so that the room was a little brighter and she could see Daisy's so pitiful face. She was worried about her friend's condition. "Oh my God, you should be treated by a doctor!"

"It's okay, I'm used to pain," Daisy said languidly.

Check...

Clarissa and Daisy's attention was drawn to the open door. They saw Nicole come into the room with a sinister smile and her arms crossed.

"How about it, Daisy, can you stand up?" Nicole asked sarcastically. "What you did to Mr. Orlando won't let me down at all. Instead, you'll be in even more trouble…your body hurts, and of course, there's no time to rest because tonight you have to go back to serving the man who bought you!" She continued firmly and her eyes widened.

"Madam, but now she is sick. You should have called the doctor to check her!" said Clarissa irritably.

"No doctor will come here to examine her, because she wants to be like this!" Nicole glanced at Daisy who was just silent and reluctant to look at her. "If she dares to make a fatal mistake like last night again, I'm sure Jacob will hurt her even more!"

"But, madam..."

"My decision is unanimous, no doctor will examine her, she can't even eat! She must be punished for being rude to Mr. Orlando!" Nicole confirmed, then immediately walked out of the room.

Brakkkk...

Clarissa was a bit surprised because the door was closed so hard by Nicole. She turned to look at Daisy who was silent as if she didn't care about Nicole's words and threats. The girl did not expect, to help her who was sick, finally, her friend was also sick.

"Daisy....you shouldn't have done this," she said in frustration. "Madam won't let you rest tonight. You'll be in more pain... Please be gentle next time because it's your way of protecting yourself!"

Daisy swallowed her saliva, glancing at Clarissa who was looking at her sadly. "You just have to see how long I can last," she said.

"You have to be able to hold on while I'm holding on too. Because we're going to leave this place together!" Clarissa said firmly then stood up. "I'll get medicine from the doctor last night. Maybe the medicine can make you not in pain," she continued and then quickly left the room.

Daisy let Clarissa go. She tilted her head, cradling her frail body in the thin gray blanket. Her gaze blankly stared at the miniature butterfly hanging by the bedside lamp while imagining her childhood.

Flashback On

a little girl wearing a yellow dress is walking alone in a flower garden that is so beautiful with green grass and flowers planted so neatly. She looked so adorable and was about 5 years old. The girl smiled happily, seeing the many butterflies that perched among the many blooming flowers. Occasionally she runs laughing to catch the butterfly that always flies when she almost reaches it.

"Daisy, don't run too far," cried Deven, who was crouching down, busy mowing the grass that was too tall so that it was level with the rest and looked neat. Ah, maybe it was her job.

Daisy ran to her mother until she was out of breath.

"Mama, why did the butterfly fly when I was about to touch it?" She asked as she arrived near her mother.

"Because they are afraid that humans will hurt them, that's why they are very sensitive to human touch," Deven replied, then took a small hair tie from her trouser pocket, then stretched her hands towards Daisy. ."Come here, I'll tie your hair so you don't feel hot," she continued.

Daisy immediately sat on Deven's lap with her back to her. She let her mother start to brush her hair neatly because it had to be tied with a hair tie that her mother had brought. the little girl continued to face the butterflies that flew freely, able to move around as they pleased.

"Why are they afraid to be touched when I wouldn't hurt them? Even I smile at them too?" She asked.

"Because they don't trust you," Deven replied, focusing on brushing Daisy's hair. "From the butterfly, we can learn that we must be vigilant and use our abilities to take care of ourselves...Don't trust people too easily because actually anyone can hurt us when we're complacent. Sometimes good people can be bad because every feeling can change," she continued.

"Then I want to be a butterfly….I want to be able to fly so that I'm not easily hurt by people," said Daisy with her cute voice.

Deven smiled crookedly while attaching a hair tie to Daisy's hair. "You don't need to be anyone to protect yourself… You just have to always try to be strong and run away from danger. If a butterfly can fly, then you can run."

"Hmm, but it's more fun to be a butterfly!" Daisy pouted, then stood up and looked at her mother. "I want to fly freely, have a lot of friends..."

"But butterflies don't live as long as humans. They get sick and die easily... You should be grateful to be a human being who is God's most perfect creation, has a nice brain, and can use that mind to take care of yourself in this world..humans can be doctors, teachers, chefs, film actors, and many more ... And when humans achieve success or have the freedom they will feel like butterflies," said Deven with a warm smile, then kissed Daisy's cute lips.

"Hmm, does that mean I have to be successful just now to feel like a butterfly?" Daisy asked curiously.

"Hmm... Not really. In mama's eyes, you look so perfect, beautiful, like a butterfly..you are a butterfly to mama," Deven replied with a smile, then hugged Daisy tightly. The woman tickled her daughter into a chuckle, and invited her to joke and play there, enjoying their simple life without a father figure to protect them.
