Chapter Eight

Cleo POV

Once we have landed Scarletts parents can be heard screaming her name.They where holding a huge sign written WELCOME HOME HUNNY BUN.

Instead of looking down in embarrassment she starts running to them holding Lucas's hand in the process.

Her and Lucas where going to stay with them for the weekend so Scarlett's parents get to know Lucas more.

I look to the right of the airport to see Jeff my main body guard and driver,standing by the car door holding it open for me.

The other guards where blocking the fans who where screaming my name from getting close to the car.

Before heading for my ride I give them all hugs.And ofcourse I didn't hug Jason.Him and Rachel left ages ago.

I make my way to the car greeting Jeff before driving off to my home.

When we reach the house I make my way in to see Mariah holding a cake screaming welcome home.And it was my favourite flavour. Chocolate cake with coffee flavoured icing.

After I freshen up.We sit on the couch eating the whole just the two of us while I was telling her all about the vacation and not leaving anything behind.

3 days later.

I am very excited that i will get the chance to see my friends again and party all night.

I really needed this break because this celebrity thing really is tiresome. The next day I was already preforming at a concert for a fundraiser for the orphaned kids.

After that the next day I was signing autographs and taking pictures for the fans.

Yesterday Elizabeth called me telling me that we where going out clubbing.I am really nervous seeing Jason again this time I'll be seeing him as a single person.

That's right him and Rachel are no more.After their break up Rachel was all over the news that she got into an accident due to depression as they are saying on the news.

I don't even know whether I should be happy that she is gone or sad that she's dead.

Jason POV

I laugh at the fake news I got Lucas to make up for Rachel's demise.Its true she is dead but not from an accident.

Flash back

Once we got to the mansion and Elizabeth was inside.Matteo and I drive to the warehouse.

We head to the cells to see Rachel tied up.I had my men cloth her while we where heading to the mansion so she wouldn't make as much noise.

Matteo grabs a bucket of cold water over her and she wakes up immediately.

She starts scanning the room missing me seeing as I a was in the dark. She spots Matteo who was in the corner smiling at her.

"YOU!! Wait till Jason hears about this you're so going to regret it" she yells and then starts smirking.

Her smirk drops down the second it appeared when she sees me coming out of the shadows.And a scared face forms on her face now I was the one smirking now.

I sit myself down on the chair that was in front of her.Looking into her eyes.

"Why'd you do it Rachel" I ask her, not wasting any more time.

"I don't know what you're talking about" she answers and starts looking around the room avoiding my stare showing me that she was lying.

"Firstly look at me when I'm talking to you and secondly I know that you know what I know so spill it"I say through gritted teeth and stabing the knife into her thigh.She screams really really loud.Im pretty sure my parents heard her by now

She's just as loud as her father."Okay Okay I'll tell you" she screams through her tears.

"I came here to surprise you again and saw you torturing my father.After seeing what happened I was really angry so I went to the club to cool off and that's when I met Nick we talked for hours and ended up spending the night together.He started telling me about how you where using me only to get to my Father and that you didn't care about me so he told he wanted revenge for what you did to him years ago (killing his family) and needed my help so I gave it to him. Telling him all your shipments and number of men you have" she finishes her really long story.After she was finished she starts smillling widely.She is about to die doesn't she know that.

"And why may i ask are you smiling about"

"Well Nick told me once he takes over he was going to make me his queen so let's just say you guys are in a lot of trouble because he's coming to get me" she answers proudly lifting her head up.

"See sweetheart that's were you're wrong" I say and snap my fingers.And one of my men who was outside the room gives her a nicely wrappend box. He unites her hands so she can open up her present.

She wastes no time opening it up.And screams immediately after seeing what was inside then throwing the box across the room.

Inside the box was the head of her precious Nick."You monster!!!! I hate you Jason King I hope you end up in hell" she screams.

"I've already been there and guess What, I'm the King himself" I answer truthfully.

"Alright enough chit chat time for you to join your daddy and precious Nick" I tell her.

"What do you me-" she doesn't get to finish her sentence before a gunshot is heard.Rachel drops out of her chair onto the floor life less.A hole is seen in her forehead where I shot her.

Her blood painted on the wall behind her.Matteo and I head out while cleaning crew walk in.Now second problem left now.

Cleo POV

It wasn't that hard for me to find an outfit.I tie my hair up into a bun and just left the make-up.



I drive to blue moon club where I see the girls waiting for me by the entrance.And they all looked amazing.

After i greet the two of them with big hugs Elizabeth is first to talk ,"C'mon let's inside the guys are waiting for us"

We make our way past the long line and into the building.The place was packed,LED lights all around everyone dancing to the dj's amazing tunes. Surprisingly although the room was packed it still looked ginormous.

Over at the VIP side I could see the guys all talking and chatting.Jason And i lock eyes and he starts checking me out before going back to his conversation with the guys.

We are sitting by the bar singing Scarlett's third favourite song:(WOW by Zara Larsson started playing and we sing our Hearts out.

The next song was an upbeat song.The girls and I hit the dance floor dancing like crazy.

Then one of the very cute guys I saw looking at me earlier came over.A song that was slow and sexy came up and he asked to dance so ofcourse I said yes.

He places his hands on my waist and puts my hands on his neck and we start dancing in sync.

After sometime of him telling me some of his cheesy pick up lines and me laughing at them.The song fianally comes to an end.

While we are heading to the bar,my hand is suddenly grabbed.I quickly turn to look at my abductor to see it's Jason himself and let me tell you he is very angry.

I look around to see if anyone is seeing this and just like we arrived they are all enjoying themselves ignoring the fact that I'm being taken away.

When we finally reach out into the parking lot I try telling him that I came with my car but he is too stubborn to hear what I had to say.

We reach his car and demands I get into the car and me being me I stand my ground.I turn around to head for the party but he pulls me back I see a police officer walking by .

So I start screaming help kidnapper the police officer turns around fully alert and spots me he starts running in our direction and I knew I was safe.

But once the officer gets a glimpse of my kidnapper his determined and heroic face changes into one of fear and he starts running in the direction he came from. Ugh why did He have to be mafia don.

He carries me into the car and buckles my seatbelt up.Before closing the door he puts the door on child lock.Like what the fuck

30 minutes pass of me sighing and huffing we reach the mansion and it's even bigger than the one in Italy.



We head on in to the house with him still pulling me.His facial expression hasn't changed at all.I now notice he has taken me to his room.I have never gotten the chance to really see it and the room just describes him.



I look behind me ready to yell at him for spoiling my night.Instead I find him pacing around the room with a look of worry and confusion. What??

"Hey why the fuck did you bring me here?" I ask furiously.

"Because" he blankly answers and continues pacing around.

"Wow Jason wow you kidnapped me and now you don't even know why you brought me here" I answer.

"Well yeah" he says slowly loosing patience.

"Ugh your'e unbelievable I'm heading back" i answer and start heading for the door.When I'm about to turn the knob I'm pulled back by the hand and into his chest.

I push him by the chest looking up into his eyes anger starting to appear on my face."You are not going anywhere simple as that".

"And why can't I" i say looking him dead in the eye.

"Because" he nonchalantly says.

"Because what Jason" I say my voice becoming louder.And by now he is about crack. Good

"Because Cleo just because" he says his voice raising up already looking patience.

"Jason you are not making sense that's not even a good enough reason" i answer back.

"Well because I have bloody feelings for you, there I said it I brought you here because I didn't like how you where getting all cozy with that boy it took me every ounce in my body not to go up to him and shoot him in the forehead, and ripping out his eyeballs and hands" he screams and starts running his hands through his hair. HE has feelings for ,Me?

HE seats down at the edge of the bed and sinks his face in his hair.I walk up to him and sit next to him.

"Um so what do you like about Me?" I shyly ask avoiding eye contact.

"There is a lot to like about you,how you care about others,You know how to defend yourself when needed to, you're always able to bring a smile on my face,You actually bring the child in me" he answers truthfully.We stay silent for a while.He kept on passing glances at me every now and then.

"Okay now you're scaring me could you please say something" he asks now turning to face me.

"I mean I'm just shocked that a guy has taken some interest in me that's all"

"Are you crazy why wouldn't I like you you're amazing and one of a kind you don't try hard to get attention or to be perfect and I admire that about you"he says before continuing again.

"I really do want to give this a chance so,Will you Cleo Isabella Mandez go out on a date with me" his deep voice asks with him now on one knee holding my hand.

"I thought you would never ask"i answer now smiling and he happily carries me and starts spinning me around while screaming yes.

We sit and talk for another hour until I head back to the room I always use for sleepovers.

Getting out of my dress and removing the make up.I quickly shower and get dressed in my onesie that I always leave with Elizabeth for just in case.

I get all cozy and start dreaming about a certain someone.

My alarm starts ringing after a few minutes of it ringing and me complaining.I finally get my self up and head for the shower.

I brush my teeth and go get dressed.I decided on a black oversized t-shirt,grey sweat pants and black ankle socks.I tie my curly hair up into a messy bun.

I make my way downstairs to see no one there so I start looking around until I finally spot the girls in the garden drinking tea and biscuits.

I head over to them sitting myself down.Elizabeth pours tea for me I politely thank her and take a sip.

Scarlett is first to break the silence,"So how did it go"she smugly asks.I take another sip then neatly place it down on to the saucer.

"Well it was good actually he told me his feelings and asked me put out on a date for tonight" I shyly answer and take another bite of the biscuit.

They both start squeling loudly and I quickly quiet them down and they continue squealing but more quietly.We spend the rest of the morning talking about other things.

It's now 6pm and time for me to get ready.I chose the dress by myself.Scarlett is doing my hair and nails while Elizabeth works on the makeup.



Once done I look into the mirror to see a completely different person.I start heading downstairs to see Jason waiting by the door looking at his phone.I take the time to study him.

Even if he is wearing simple clothes he looks Devine.He is wearing a white button up shirt, black jeans,combat boots.I make my presence known and he immediately looks up.

His eyes turn into a darker shade and they start roaming around my body.I walk over to him still looking into his eyes.When I reach where he is standing I lean in on my toes and whisper in his ear,"Take a picture it will last longer" I say and start smirking when I see his ear is red.

He regains his confidence immediately and says,"No,looking at the real thing is way better are you ready to go" and stretches his hand for me to hold.

We leave the house with Lucas screaming for us to use protection.He leads us to the garage where it's filled with so many cars and he ends up choosing a Lamborghini.



He opens the door for me and I sit myself in.We are finally out the gates and he starts speeding off really fast like a maniac .My seat belt wasn't doing its job correctly I even had to hold onto the door handle.

When we reach our destination I try opening the door but it's locked and turn to glare at him but he just smiles in return.

He walks out of the car and comes to my side opening the door for me.I get out still a bit dizzy from all the fast swirls and turns he had been doing.

I look around to see we are at the beach.He holds onto my hand and starts leading me to our date.When we arrive I am in complete awe because it looks amazing.



We head over to the nicely set up place and he puts out the chair for me and I sit.Dinner is brought and we stay looking into each other's eye's.

"What?" I ask him." you look beautiful" he answers and I find myself blushing.I have never blushed before like ever.

"Um thanks you look really beautiful, errrr i mean Handsome of course you know since you're a boy I mean a man I mean-"

He interruptes my rambling," I get it and thank you I am rather beautiful".

We both start laughing ."So you have a lot of tattoos do they mean anything?" I ask him and take a big sip of my beverage.

"Well some mean something, others were just based on me wanting it"He answers.

"Oh well ,which tattoo has the most meaning?" I curiously ask him.

"Um I would say the one on my rib it symbolises how I never gave up when things where tough and I rose up being the person I am today" he says.

"Oh wow that's interesting" I excitingly say.

"What about you what's up with the tattoos you have" he asks leaning back into his chair.

"Oh I got these when I was in my rebellious stage of teenage hood" I cheekily answer and he starts chuckling.

We spend the rest of the date talking more about our interests,goals in life and other things you would talk about on dates.

We drive back to the house the silence never once appearing.We reach the house I kiss him on the cheek and say my goodnight.

When heading up to my room I'm tackled on the ground by my two besties who start asking thousands of questions of what had happened.

I happily tell them everything that happened and ofcourse they where disappointed that we didn't kiss but I mean what can you do.

2 month later.

My life has just been getting better and better.After our date it didn't end there we went on numerous dates until on one of them he had asked me to be his girlfriend officialy.

I was really surprised but after that we have been striving really well as a couple.When the news heard about this ofcourse they had to investigate now its one of the top headlines written as Mafia Boss and His Singing Star. Matteo and Eli are now a couple doing really well.

Little Emma and I have not stopped talking to each other in fact from the moment we came back we have been having video calls everyday.

I just got back from your.I haven't seen Jason in 1 week and I really do miss him.He has also been busy with his business and the mafia.

After my shower and getting dress I get comfy on the couch with snacks surrounding me and I get a call.

I look at the caller id: Bae

I answer it immediately.

Key:C=Cleo and J=Jason

C:heyyyy

J:hey just wanted to see if you're home now.

C:yeah I am actually is something wrong

J:uh yeah actually could you come over please.

C:yeah I'm on my way.

The call ends and I grab the closest shoes which are my bunny slippers. It's 7o'clock which means not much traffic I hop into my car and speed over there trying to not think of the worst possible scenarios.
