After dying in a tragic arson incident, Ace was reborn with God's Favor in a powerful family with his past memories on a new Earth where humans evolved into superhumans. The ancient immortal offered Mark a chance to resurrect his wife in exchange for Ace's life. So, he took on the job of assassinating Ace. But, he got a plan of his own.

Thus begins the story of Ace and Mark, in the world of superhumans.

Far away, an unstable portal opened on an isolated island. A human emerged from that portal, bleeding and covered in violet flames.

"Hufff... Hufff," Mark was breathing hard since the memories were forcefully poured into his mind. Markus's memories have fused with his own.


"That brat endured all this yet didn't even try to fight back... Is it because he didn't want to put his only family alive in trouble, or was he just a coward? But, those fiery eyes of his... No, he wasn't a coward," Mark thought as he stood holding his head while gathering his thoughts. His head was still throbbing from the memory fusion.


When Markus's memories were fusing with Mark, there was a brief amount of time when Mark felt all the emotions that Markus felt when he was enduring his pain and suffering. And it was too much for Mark as he had never faced such a situation in his life.
