After dying in a tragic arson incident, Ace was reborn with God's Favor in a powerful family with his past memories on a new Earth where humans evolved into superhumans. But due to her weakened state and the powerful superhumans around Ace, she failed to get near Ace. So, she hired the world's No-1 retired Assassin, Mark, to take on the job.

The ancient immortal offered Mark a chance to resurrect his wife in exchange for Ace's life. So, he took on the job of assassinating Ace. But, he got a plan of his own.

Thus begins the story of Ace and Mark, in the world of superhumans.

Far away, an unstable portal opened on an isolated island. A human emerged from that portal, bleeding and covered in violet flames.

[Mark, are you alright? Your heartbeat rates are off the chart, and why are you sweating so much? You need to calm yourself... The Players outside are not your regular guy. They will detect the abnormalities...]


Mark changed his clothes and was waiting for the gate bell to ring. Flashes of Damian's face came before his eyes, "Arrgg," He shook his head, trying to focus, but it was hard. Damian's words are continuously playing inside his head.


"Focus, Mark. Haaaa," Mark muttered and took a deep breath, just like he used to do before killing his target. As a veteran sniper, he learned to control his breathing and focus his sight on the target. However, it was difficult for him to do so in the new body of an untrained boy who only buffed his muscles in the gym.


[Ring] [Ring] Finally, the doorbell rang. It was exactly 6 minutes after Mark got out of the bathroom and changed his clothes.
