The ancient immortal offered Mark a chance to resurrect his wife in exchange for Ace's life. So, he took on the job of assassinating Ace. But, he got a plan of his own.

Thus begins the story of Ace and Mark, in the world of superhumans.

Far away, an unstable portal opened on an isolated island. A human emerged from that portal, bleeding and covered in violet flames.

"Haaaa... Very well. You win. But, if anything happens to them," Mark said as he looked into Chief's eyes, "You will get that bullet right here..." He pointed his finger at Chief's forehead.


Chief left after a few minutes of preparation, leaving Mark in his office.


[Why? What are you plotting this time?]


[By the way, that guy activated a barrier outside the room. You won't be able to get out until he returns.]


"This is the base of Player Organization. That means there is a weapon storage room... Ohh, those high-quality nano mites, just waiting for someone to grab them... Who knows what else is in there? There might be some raw nano mites. We will never know..."


"Ahh!!! Too bad... I suppose you can't help..."


Mark replied to the System with a sad tone while shaking his head in disappointment.
