MARK'S CHOICE

"You reek of monsters, human. What are you?" The giant human asked. His eyes were on Mark, glaring at him with distrust. Well, after everything he and his kind suffered, it's hard for them to trust another human.

"Aren't we all... We do what we gotta do to survive. And if that makes us a monster, then so be it. I am sure someone in your position can understand that," Mark replied.

"I don't mean one monster... Your body reeks of countless monsters," The giant man said while sniffing like a hound. The giant humans possess the special trait of identifying humans from monsters through their noses. It's their species' natural talent.

Mark was searching for a way to unlock the prison and shackles. To his surprise, all the prison doors opened on their own. The essence shackles that were binding them turned to dust. The blood extraction stopped. Free from their shackles, the giants tore open the tubes extracting their blood.
