After dying in a tragic arson incident, Ace was reborn with God's Favor in a powerful family with his past memories on a new Earth where humans evolved into superhumans. His misfortune and bad luck from his past life have started to meddle with his new life.

But due to her weakened state and the powerful superhumans around Ace, she failed to get near Ace. So, she hired the world's No-1 retired Assassin, Mark, to take on the job.

The ancient immortal offered Mark a chance to resurrect his wife in exchange for Ace's life. So, he took on the job of assassinating Ace. But, he got a plan of his own.

Thus begins the story of Ace and Mark, in the world of superhumans.

Far away, an unstable portal opened on an isolated island. A human emerged from that portal, bleeding and covered in violet flames.

[Booom] A pillar of black energy exploded, destroying the shopping mall.


"Troll kill human... Human meat... Troll eat..."


"Human scream... Troll like puny human scream..."


With an earth-shattering scream, six monsters as giant as a four-story building jumped out from the portal. They are trolls that fall under the ogre and giant categories.


The trolls' skin color was moss green. Metal armor covered their shoulders, arms, waist, and legs, but the rest of the body was exposed. Their glowing yellow eyes were peeking from the gap in the helmet. Their primary weapons were giant metal clubs and morning stars. However, one of them was carrying a wooden staff and standing at the rear.


William gritted his teeth in anger. He saved the civilians, but his grandson was caught in the explosion. Two Substitute Hunters came running and took the civilians far away from the place.
