Chapter 10

It was a very busy day, the mating ceremony was scheduled to take place in the evening, and the maids were working really hard to get everything ready in time.

"It is possible that the maids will not be able to do all of the work by themselves; therefore, you should retrieve some inmates from their cells and bring them to work here. Check to see whether there is a human slave hiding among them "Luna Sarah's commands had been conveyed to Old Dawn, who was standing next to her.

Old Dawn bent her head and proceeded to the jail in order to collect the inmates who would be doing the labor. She was on her way to the jail when she took a wrong turn and ran into Alpha Adam.

"Alpha Adam, how are you?" After asking, Old Dawn bowed respectfully.

"Keep your pleasantries to yourself, old lady, and tell me why you threw my belongings about in such a careless way." Alpha Adam was over himself with rage.

Even though Old Dawn was aware that she was Alpha Adam's property, she was at a loss to comprehend why Alpha Adam took such offense at the whipping that Rita suffered.

Old Dawn knelt and stated, "I am sorry I went too far while I was punishing her, and I won't let it happen again," before continuing to say that she wouldn't let it happen again. Because he had to attend to other crucial responsibilities, Alpha Adam abandoned her and went away.

When Old Dawn came to the jail, the guards bowed down in response to her presence. She began picking some of the captives; she chose thirty female convicts, and among them were Rita, Sophia, and Mera. She continued picking the prisoners.

"You should all follow my lead, and in addition to that, I expect the best behavior from everyone. Especially you, human slave; if you continue to misbehave, I will not hesitate to give you a severe spanking "After making her statement, Old Dawn began to move.

She placed all of the slaves behind her, and she made sure that Rita was following closely behind her. Rita was not the sort of person that she would have wanted to be out of her sight.

They arrived at the location where the proceedings would take place. Rita was included in the group that each and every one of them, even Luna Sophia, received chores from. She did her best to treat Rita in the same manner as she did the other inmates and the maids.

She received a call from a maid who told her that it was time for her to choose her outfit from among the available royal gowns. She dialed Old Dawn's number and gave her instructions, telling her that the slaves were to continue their job even though she was leaving to go buy some clothing.

Old Dawn gave her assent, and she pledged that she would see to it that the slaves did an excellent job.

Alpha Adam and Alpha Brian, Adam's father, met for a meeting, and the primary topic of discussion was the guests that should be expected for the mating ritual, in addition to many other topics.

"I wish the gods provide you a mate today, son, you have far past the age for obtaining a mate," Alpha Brian said to his son out of concern for him. "You have long passed the age for getting a partner."

"The grain and pork that we provide them as presents and offerings are much appreciated. I hope that they are watching over us and guiding us to make the right decisions, "Alpha Adam said to his father, and both of them chuckled thereafter.

"The mating ceremony will be seen by Rebekah, who is the Alpha's daughter and was born to Jasper. If you were to waltz with her and claim her as your partner, I can assure you that the two of you would make a very formidable pair. Believe what I say because it's the truth "Alpha Brian made many attempts to convince his kid.

"There is a fragile lady who is stunningly beautiful and fair. She is wonderful beyond my wildest dreams, despite the fact that she is physically weak. She cannot be tolerated in any capacity; in fact, she is regarded as the most repugnant of all living things. I rebuke the gods for matching me with such a wretched female companion "Alpha Adam stated and chuckled.

Alpha Brian was perplexed since he was unable to comprehend what his kid meant when he spoke to his mate. You talk in allegories; do you have a companion whom you are prepared to mark? The Alpha version of Brian was tense.

Alpha Adam gave his father the advice that he should ready himself for whatever the night has in store for them. Alpha Adam continued heading in the direction of the jail to notify the guards that Rita has to attend the ceremony in order for him to feel satisfied.

He was on his way to the jail when he made the decision to make a pit stop and check on the preparations. When he arrived, he discovered Rita overworking, and Old Dawn was standing behind her with a whip. At Old Dawn, he had the desire to hurry, but he forced himself to remain calm in order to ensure that his plans would not be derailed.

Alpha Adam had a covert conversation with a guard, in which he asked the guard to deliver Old Dawn to him.

The figure of Old Dawn appeared in front of him, and he issued the following command: "I want Rita returned to her jail immediately."

Old Dawn raised an objection to this by saying, "My lord, your mother Luna Sophia demanded that she remain and labor with the other slaves."

"I am aware of what my mother had previously said, but the truth is that I do not know, nor do I wish to, and that is that I should pull her away and ask her to meet me here. Do not make it readily apparent then," The instructions came from Alpha Adam.

Rita resisted Alpha Adam's attempts to embrace her when he attempted to do so after Old Dawn took her to where he was. Old Dawn was taken aback, and she began to wonder whether Alpha Adam had fallen victim to some kind of magical enchantment.

Alpha Adam greeted her with a grin and the reminder, "Do not forget that you will be attending the event."

"I will go, but there is one requirement," Rita said.

The question "since when did you start establishing conditions in this place?" was directed at her by Old Dawn, who had turned around and gazed at her.

Old Dawn was warned by Alpha Adam to be silent and asked, "what is your condition?" Alpha Adam asked.

Rita made a request, saying that she wanted her two new friends Sophia and Mera to be able to come along with her.

Old Dawn objected to the statement by saying, "What? That is absolutely impossible, my lord."

Rita asked that her friends be given nice clothes, and Alpha Adam granted her request. Alpha Adam paid little heed to Old Dawn and instead informed Rita that she may bring her friends with her.

Make sure the two of her friends attend the event, and provide them costly outfits to wear. If you hand me the bill to me later, I will pay it in full "Alpha Adam reached out and patted Rita on the shoulder before turning to go.

Rita quickly became aware of herself and returned to her task when Old Dawn stared at her and said, "go back to work, bitch!" She dramatically raised the number of employees in accordance with Alpha Adam's command, and as a result, the task was accomplished very fast.
