Chapter fifty five

She used some ointment on my wounds and it made me feel a whole lot. I felt better than before.

"Thank you so much. I don't know why they decided to attack us when we were having a swift discussion about them. I felt like they were following us and nothing else could explain that fact," I said while looking at the faces of the twin sisters. I could not get a clue. I became suspicious because of only one reason.

I felt that way because of the discussion Cory had with Jalie before sending the huge men to deal with us. I also noticed she wasn't dealt with.

"Eh-Ehm...I would serve your dinner on the table or here?" Malie asked.

"I will make it to the table. I was just beaten. I am getting better, you don't need to worry way too much,"I said.

I had a lot of things to worry about and I wish I could share my point of confusion too.
