Chapter 38:- [5th Bonus Chapter] Alvalenor city

"My brothers you all have worked under for me for years. You guys listened to my orders and did everything I told you to do without a question. From the very start, I always considered you all as my family, as my little brothers. We started from stealing foods to become strong enough to start our own business. I promise you all that I will make you all rich one day but unfortunately I couldn't keep my promise." Today morning, William and Rosie found Silas and his men had buried their brothers.
Silas and the 5 remaining guards wiped the tears from their faces. Liam stopped behind Silas while Will and Rosie stood 5 meters away, at the back and watching the scene while holding hands. It would be a lie to say that William is not least bit affected by the death of these people.
"Our Journey will continue to go on. My brothers I promise that one day, I will become a rich person and fulfill our long lived dream. Please watch over us from the heaven." Even though everyone knew that the soul of those guards was absorbed by the assassins, they still believed that a small part of their soul had reached heaven.
Following Silas and his men, Liam also bowed his head in respect. Only William and Rosie kept standing.
After saying goodbyes to their fallen brother, the journey was resumed once again. Unlike before, everyone remained quiet. The atmosphere was gloomy and sad. Silas, his men and Liam, and his maid didn't even had anything for breakfast.
Just like before wearing black cloaks, both Cain and Rose followed from behind.
The journey took another 1 days. In that 1 day, other than some low ranking magical beasts which were killed by Silas and his men, no one came to attack or ambush the group. And soon on the 4th morning, the group reached Alvalenor city.
Before entering the city, Liam walked out of the carriage with a guilty look. "Sir Cain and Madam Rose, I cannot express how grateful I am for saving my life. I will never forget this debt. I admit that I looked down on both of you mainly because of Sir Cain's low level. But right now, I have nothing but endless respect for you two in my heart."
Liam lowered his fat body which had slimed down a lot in this 3 days. He bowed his head to William and Rosie before taking out a big leather pouch.
"Please take this. Aside from the mission's reward, this is a small gift to express my gratitude. Although this amount is not much, I hope Sir Cain will accept this and forgive me." At first William was still hesitant but seeing Rose nod her head, he accepted the leather pouch. Judging from the weight of the pouch, there was at least 100 royal gold coins.
Silas and his five remaining men came to express their gratitude. "No need to bow your heads. As I said before, I did this to protect my client." Seeing the people who used to look down on him a few days ago is now bowing their heads to him, William did not feel comfortable. Seeing them thanking him, he felt a little guilty for not being able to save their other men.
Silas raised his head. "My name is Silas. I will remember this debt. Although I don't have any money like Liam, If in future you ever need my help you can come to SouthSnow city to find me. Though I am not strong as you or lady Rose, no matter what it is, I will help you. This is my promise."
William smiled as he could feel his sincerity. Suddenly he tossed the leather pouch at Silas making everyone surprised. "You can take this."
"But..."
"You wanted to become rich right, this leather pouch should have enough money for you all to retire and live a comfortable middle class life for next 10 years."
"But this money is yours." Silas felt hesitant.
"Take it. Think of us as some random angels who just wants to help you." After saying that William and Rosie entered the city leaving Silas and Liam dumbfounded.
"To think he can just give 1000 gold coins to someone, I am afraid Sir Cain and Madam Rose's identity is not simple." Often times Liam has heard that children of rich nobles usually becomes adventurer in disguise mainly to level up and also to get experience of the outside world.
"Yes. I wouldn't be surprised If Cain turned out be the son of some Duke."
Meanwhile, After entering the city with fake identities, William and Rosie walked while holding hands. "Why did you gave them those 100 royal gold coins?"
"Maybe I was just feeling generous today." William
"Or maybe you were feeling guilty of the fact that you couldn't save those guards so you gave the money to Silas." Rosie
"Maybe. Anyway let's go to the adventurer guild and let our cards updated."

Paying 10,000 royal gold coins which was 100,000 gold coins. Paying 100,000 gold coins for a small teleportation, isn't it a bit too much expensive.
"Hehe! Why are you so worried? With the money we have, using teleportation array is no big deal."
"If we keep using teleportation array then even all of your saved money will be save up sooner or later."
"In that case, I can just use this." Rosie showed a golden badge that had the symbol of the Sithen Empire on it.

"This thing is given to every duke and marquess of the empire. By showing this badge, we can just use the teleportation arrays for free."
William sighed wondering why she didn't took out the golden badge from the beginning. "Alright let's go to the public bath first."
"Lets go."

"It has been 5 days since William left. My baby still hasn't sent a letter to me. Did my son forget about his mother?" Olivia wiped the tear from her cheek as she sat on William's bed.
"Don't cry Olivia. He will return soon. In next few months, Laura's birthday is coming, I am sure then he definitely will return."
