Trouble is Brewing

Ezio looked at the pills in disbelief. The grades of the pills were similar to the weapons. Starting with Under the counter, Baron Grade, and so on and so forth. But like the weapons, pills also had different tiers in each rank.

The Blood Qi pills, Elder Jie made, were Under the Counter Grade and intermediate tier. Ezio could discern the tier of the pills because their shape would correspond to their tiers. But these pills were already priceless in the sect. Not everyone could acquire the intermediate tier of these pills.

Usually, the Apprentices would concoct the pills in mass quantity, most of them being low tier. Rarely, one or two would be intermediate tier and would be snatched by the Apprentice right away. But the intermediate tier pills concocted by Elder Jie would be distributed to Elders. Even though Ezio was the Star Disciple, he only got intermediate pills for the first time. And it was after he delivered the jar of blood.

Yet, the two priceless pills Elder Jie has gifted to him were an eyesore in Alchemist Ezio's eyes, and he forced himself to awaken to increase their tiers. And, he actually did. From intermediate to high, and from that to Pinnacle Tier!

Ezio looked at the perfectly round, glowing pills in his hand. They were raised to the pinnacle tier, and their effect increased dramatically. The low tier pills were only 10 percent effective, 15 percent for intermediate tier, 20 percent for advanced level, and for the pinnacle, it was a whopping 30 percent. This was a double increase, also meaning Ezio somehow duplicated his two pills to four pills with almost no side effects.

'Even before refining, each pill would sell for the walloping 50 golds. The pinnacle tiers would be worth more than 500 golds.'

Ezio wasn't willing to sell them of course. Firstly, if pills were to pop out in the hands of an 11 years old kid, he would be killed before he could even tell his story. Secondly, he wanted to improve as well. Only after he had enough strength to protect himself would he be willing to sell some.

Without delaying any further Ezio wolfed down two pills together. Dense Qi started to assault his body. It would hurt his insides if he were to let it gad around.

Ezio fished out his newly forged dagger and started to cultivate The Azure Wolf King's Eternal Fang. Swing after swing, stab after stab he cultivated without stop. He used every muscle in his body and Qi started to circulate. The Qi would replenish as soon as it was used.

It was already a week after when the pills dissolved and were absorbed in his body. It wasn't enough to break through. After all, it was a few days back that he broke through to Qi Vortex Creation Realm. It would still take a long time to break through, but not only he consolidated his cultivation, he even made a big way to the next tier!

Leaving the hut, Ezio stretched his cramped muscles. He slept almost 24 hours, after arduous 7 days of cultivation. He was full of energy once again.

This enterprise was one of the most substantial powers in the city. It didn't just host strong cultivators, but there was also a dark side to the operation. Supplying!

This enterprise would supply almost anything. It was the black market of the city, and even the strong cultivators would turn a blind eye because the power behind Violet Orchid wasn't one to trifle with.

At the moment, in one of the private lounges, a group of cultivators was sitting. If Ezio was here, he would recognize almost all of them. They were Tian Huang, Tian Xu, and Tian Xu's uncle, Supreme Elder Tian Yong. Tian Huang and Tian Xu were sitting silently and respectfully, while Tian Yong was more relaxed, across them sat a young adult in his early thirties. He had a feminine charm, and with white expensive clothes, he would steal lots of girls' hearts.

"Young Master Adam, I hope your grandfather is in good health." Tian Yong said to the youth. Even though he was sitting relaxed, he couldn't act haughty in front of the youth.

"Supreme Elder Tian Yong, thank you for your consideration. My grandfather is still alive and kicking. He will run the sect for another century." The youth said with a soft smile. He was neither servile nor overbearing. "Grandfather told me that you wanted to sell some information in exchange for a Spirit-Cleansing Pill.

As you already know, the Spirit-Cleansing Pill is special to our sect, and we keep its recipe for thousands of years. We can't just give the pill to those outsiders. Even though it is almost impossible to trace back its recipe from a pill, it is one of the most protected secrets of our ancestors."

"Of course, we are aware of that fact, and we respect it. If we were to accept the trade, my grandson, Tian Huang will swallow the pill in front of you." Tian Xu jumped from the side. The youth looked at him and Tian Huang in disdain, but it vanished quickly.

"In that case, we can accept your deal. So what is the information you want to share with us? I have to report back to my grandfather first to check if it is worth trading with the Spirit-Cleansing Pill." The youth spoke to Tian Hong once again. Even though he was young, he cultivation was at Qi Solidification Realm, pinnacle. He was stronger than Tian Xu.

"What if I told you that there is a youth who was able to achieve the seamless body in our sect." Tian Hong said slowly as he looked at the youth's expressions.

"That is impossible. Not even the prodigies of Emperor Tier Powerhouses can't achieve it. How can a mere Duke Tier III sect nurture such a genius?" The youth was so shocked he forgot his manners and insulted the sect of the people he was doing business with. "Forgive me, please. The news was a bit overwhelming."

"No harm is done." Tian Hong's face was livid but he had to swallow the insult. "How will you notify your grandfather and deliver the pill?"

"I will notify my grandfather with a talisman right away, and if he accepts, I will give you the pill right away." The youth said as he fished out a red-colored talisman. "But let me make it clear, if the information given is false, the consequences will be dire."

The trio heard the threat but they were still in shock after seeing the red-colored talisman. It had a fifty thousand kilometers range and was not cheap at all. Even the Supreme Elder Tian Yong would use several small-range talismans to deliver a message that far, but the youth sitting across was using the red one for a mere message.

Also, the youth said he was carrying the Spirit-Cleansing Pill on him. The treasure of the Mountain Lynx Sect was on him all the time. Wasn't this a bit unfair?

The youth was speaking with his grandfather through the talisman and after a few minutes, the talisman turned to ash and dissolved into the air.

"My Grandfather accepted the deal. But he wanted me to remind you. What we do with this information is none of your business?" The youth said as he pulled a vial containing a single red pill. "Agreed?"

"Of course. You can do whatever you want with him." Tian Yong said as he passed a scroll. The youth opened the scroll and read the information about Ezio. His name, the so-called clan he was from, his age, cultivation, everything about him. The youth looked at the name and a disdainful smile blossomed on his handsome face. 'What if you have a seamless body. I have the power to make you my servant or dead.'

After rolling the scroll back, the youth passed the vial to Tian Yong. "Which one of you is going to eat it?"

"My grandson will. Tian Huang, thank Young Master Adam for the gift." Tian Yong said and pointed to Tian Huang sitting in the back.

"Thank you, Young Master Adam." Tian Huang said, but inside he was feeling loath. The man across from him had everything. The resources he could use were endless. He was eating the pill he was dreaming of, like candy. Still, with this one pill, Tian Huang was sure to catch up with him. How could he accept his inferiority?

Tian Huang opened the vial and wolfed the pill on the spot. He sat crossed-legged and started to cultivate. He was a step away from Qi Force Opening Realm, and with this pill, he would soar to the sky. Then, he would avenge his humiliation sevenfold.

The youth walked to Tian Huang and placed his hand on his back. He put his Qi in Tian Huang's body to dissolve the pill. After all, if Tian Huang protected the pill with his Qi, the pill would stay in his stomach for months.
