Consolidation of Force!

Consolidation of Force was a second chance given to cultivators with no talents. Heavens were fair, thus it allowed mortals to carve their second chance if they have the will.

When cultivators awakened their Third Signium from the same Curtain, the three could be sacrificed to jump over a Curtain. For example, if those non-sect cultivators were somehow able to break through to the Qi Crystallization Realm, they could sacrifice three of their Signiums to awaken a new one from the Third Curtain.

It was viable, but not practical. First of all, for those who could only awaken from the Second Curtain for their first Signiums, it was almost impossible to break through to the Qi Crystallization Realm. That meant, they could only have two Force Signiums.

Secondly, it was almost certain to jump over a Curtain when two Signiums were awakened in the same Curtain. In other words, after awakening two Signiums from the Second Curtain, awakening from the third curtain for the next one was almost guaranteed. Such was Elder Solon's situation.

Elder Solon could also choose to awaken from the Second Curtain for his third Signium, but in the end, he would have to sacrifice his three Signiums for one on the Third Curtain, which was already available for him.

Xian Zhou claimed he could pass through to the Fourth Curtain, and did not choose to do so because he wanted to merge them when he broke through next time. But in its own right, it was bullshit. If he was so close to the Fourth Curtain, he would be guaranteed to step into the Fourth Curtain for his next breakthrough. But by missing this chance, he would have to give up two Fourth Curtain Signiums.

But, there was an exception to all of this. By merging three signiums from the same family, it could bring out a tiny chance of a leap to the next curtain. In Xian Zhou's case, by merging three bat-related Signiums, he could awaken a bat-related Signium from the Fifth Curtain.

Still, Ezio thought it wasn't worth the trouble. There was also another combining chance when a person awakened the fourth Signium. Two and two same-ranked Signiums could also be merged but still not worth it.

Ezio didn't expose Xian Zhou's bullshit and shrugged his shoulders. Since he was able to strengthen his vibration ability, it meant their journey from then on would be smoother.

"Since we all had broken through, let's find some beasts to get used to our new powers," Ezio suggested.

"Sounds good." Xian Zhou won his confidence back with his breakthrough and walked in front. Ezio couldn't care less about it

They walked in the forest for half an hour and did not encounter any beast or human. It was as if they all ran away from something.

Running another hour, the group heard a roar of a beast. They approached and noticed they were Thunder Gorillas.

Three meters tall gorillas with lightning cracking around their muscled jade bodies were eying the party. They long smelled their odors and were roaring to warn them away. Normally they would attack without warning, but they too just felt the wolf howling and were in trepidation. They couldn't deal with these pests at the moment.

The group, on the other hand, was looking forward to battle with these overdeveloped mammals.

Xian Zhou was the first. Two of his Signiums shone on top of his head, and his muscles started to swell underneath his clothes. His claws stretched, and two fangs developed in his mouth. With a bloodthirsty smile, he attacked the closest Gorilla.

Yang Yu was the second. She fished out a sword from her spatial scroll and sent flying sword energy that illuminated the path as it flew to a group of gorillas. It wasn't strong enough to kill, but it sure did a number on them. Most of the gorillas that were watching in alarm blinded by the sudden explosion of light.

Xun Bai and Lai Shi made use of the opportunity and attacked with their respective weapons. Bow with air currents nocked with a fire arrow and a short sword freezing the air.

Xun Bai was able to set all of her arrows in flame and with a strong gust, piercing shots were killing gorillas one by one. She was still dependent on Bow and Arrow, but before she could only set the arrows on fire. Now she could also use the wind element on her bow to strengthen the fire and accelerate the arrows.

Lai Shi jumped inside of the band of gorillas and swung her sword carelessly. Even though there were some strong gorillas there, most of them were First or Second tier. Their attacks weren't that of a threat to the group.

Ezio watched the brutal massacre and took out his own weapon. Quasi-Viscount Grade Dagger shivered in his hand as if it was alive. Before it was only a medium for him to display his techniques, but now, it was just like a wolf fang, ready to cut the enemies' heads off.

Ezio released the Signium and joined the massacre. His new strength circulated in his body. His claws grew a little to grip the dagger firmer. He felt the wind in the air and was able to feel its circulation, its source. He felt as if the wind was under his command. The smallest movement of his finger was able to summon the wind to his side.

He, with a horizontal slash to the tall gorilla's neck, attacked at the speed of the wind. The wind carried the dagger, and the dagger cut like a hot knife through butter. He fell to the ground dexterously, and the gorilla head cracking with thunder fell near him.

"This is power!"

Ezio this time tried the Speed ability of his Signium. He ran faster and faster and ran into the band of Gorillas before they could react, there were tens of cuts all over their bodies.

"Wind Dagger is fast and can cut through easily. Speed Ability is twice faster than Wind, but it is not as strong." Ezio concluded. "What if I use them together?"

Ezio ran into another band of gorillas swiftly and cut through them like paper. The dagger was moving on the battlefield like a phantom, and the ground was covered with blood and severed limbs. The thrill of the battle took over Ezio, and his clothes were covered with blood. His arms were sore but the adrenaline was allowing him to raise his tired hands one more time.

"ROARRRR!"

In their raving mode, a roar stronger than any Thunder Gorilla put some sense in their head, and they awake from their stupor.

"Fourth Tier Demonic Beast, Peak Tier" Xian Zhou was worried. He wanted to test his strength, but even ten of him couldn't hurt the beast.

"Run!" Ezio shouted joyfully.
