Poisoned

While Ezio was still looking around goofily to understand what happened, his consciousness pulled into the Mysterious Room. There on one of the walls, another window opened. Inside there was another avatar with a doctor gown and gloves looking at him direly.

"You have been poisoned, son." He said much to Ezio's shock.

"What? How did it happen?" Ezio asked in terror.

"I don't know. I was forced to awaken when I felt the poison. Now, give me a drop of your blood." The doctor said, Ezio cut his finger and a vial appeared in front of him. He filled it and passed it to Doc.

"Don't worry, the amount is too little. It would kill you in tens of years with this amount, but I will still try to disperse it." Doc said while still looking at the vial.

"What is the level of the poison, can you tell?" Ezio asked as he thought of something.

"Alcy, can you come over here?" Doc shouted and in the next second, Alcy appeared in the new room.

"What?" He said as he looked around.

"You can move?" Ezio asked in bewilderment.

"Of course," Alcy said as he approached Doc.

"Look at this, Alcy. What is the level of this poison?" Doc asked as he passed a drop of black liquid he distilled from the blood while he was talking. It took him only several seconds to do just that.

"You got poisoned, Main? For f*ck sake!" Alcy bemoaned as he took the liquid from Doc. "High. No one in this Kingdom can produce I dare to say."

"Thanks," Ezio said and left the room. When he came back, he noticed Prince Consort was still looking at him with a smile. Ezio copied his smile and nodded. Then he looked at other guests

Should I let the Master know about this?

No, he will kill the little shit right here right now if I do so.

What can I do then?

Nothing, let's just wait.

Good call.

Good, see ya brah.

Ezio, after finishing the Gollum dialogue in his mind, focused on the banquet again. The food was heavenly and the girls were pretty. He decided to forget everything else and focus on everything happening. But his fun was not long-lived, as a disciple from the next table rose to his feet and looked at him.

"Young Hero, Ezio." The disciple with a purple outfit clasped his fist as he slightly bowed. "I heard Master Aodhfionn's esteemed name for many years, and always admired him. He is a Dragon and his disciple must be nothing less. I wondered if we can spar, so Young Hero Ezio can point out my mistakes."

Ezio looked at the smiling teen curiously. He didn't expect anyone from sects to target him, but he also understood why they did so. When they first arrived, his master insulted the sect leader and now his disciple wanted to avenge him. If he could earn some brownie points while doing so all the better, if not, he would at least be trying.

"I am but a Blacksmith, learning from my master. I am not versed in cultivation." Ezio said with a sullen expression. "I wouldn't want to embarrass myself."

"Not at all, Young Hero." The teen clearly lacked common sense or wanted to make things hard for Ezio, "It is just a friendly spar. No need to feel embarrassed."

"If you insist." Ezio nodded uncertainly. "I also would like to see the level of Young Heroes in the four greatest sects of the Kingdom. Then I can see how much I lack."

Aodhfionn looked at Ezio in amusement. He heard from Abbot and also saw him forging. He knew how strong Ezio was. Although his opponent was also at the peak of the Qi Force Opening Realm, he had no chance against Ezio.

Ezio too was building up the expectation. He said that he would want to see the level of the four greatest sects in the Kingdom thus when the disciple eventually loses, it would be a slap to their faces.

There was a big area between the tables where small spars could be held. Ezio walked to the opening where the disciple was waiting and raised one hand.

"Ezio."

"Sun Mo."

"With weapons or free hand?"

"However you wish, Young Hero." The disciple grinned as he clasped his arms around his chest.

"Freehand then." Ezio nodded and looked at his opponent. His posture was so amateur he could finish him in seconds. There were too many openings, for a second he suspected if there was some kind of ploy. But from what he could sense, he could arrive at his opponent and knock him out before the fool could even move.

'Is this the level of this Kingdom? 15 years old, still at the Qi Force Opening Realm. His foundation is unstable. Must have used too many pills to break through. His mind is not calm. He is a thrash."

"So, do we start?" Ezio asked, disappointed.

"Sure, whenever you wan—" Before the fool could finish his sentence, Ezio appeared behind him and chopped his neck. In the next second, the fool kissed the ground.

"You shouldn't go easy on me like this," Ezio said with panic written all over his face. "What if I think this is the real level of the four greatest sects in the Kingdom and fancy myself as something? I would die out there thinking I am the best. No, that won't work. You have to get up and fight me seriously, Young Hero."

The little fool on the ground spat out a mouthful of blood despite being unconscious. Ezio looked at the scene in great pleasure as he walked back to his chair.

"It is good that I am smart. I have seen him losing on purpose, right grandma?" He said to the old woman next to him who was looking at him as if he was a beast.

Aodhfionn on the other hand was laughing his ass off. When Ezio sat, he patted his shoulder with great force as he sent a telepathic message, "Great job, lad. Couldn't ask for anythin' better."

Seeing his master happy, Ezio was happy too. Fools dare to insult me and my master. They are asking to be slapped.
