Overbearing!

"Master Yontu, I heard your esteemed name a lot." When he entered the room, Yontu saw three people sitting. One wasn't a stranger to him, it was Xu Yong, the Best Alchemist in the Kingdom and also the head of the Alchemy Association.

The other one was a refined gentleman with fancy clothes. He didn't look like a cultivator and more like a sneaky broker. His thin mustache was very much supporting this impression.

The last one was a woman who looked in her thirties. She had green hair and eyes. To be honest, she looked hot. But Yontu knew better than showing any weaknesses on the table.

"Hmm." Yontu nodded slightly in front of the broker looking at the man's praise and sat down at the head of the table. The Jiang duo followed and stood behind him when he sat down. "What do the three most important organizations in the Kingdom want from this old man?"

"Are you really an old man?" Asked the only woman with a smirk, "or a man?"

"Why do you want to know my true identity?" Yontu asked without getting flustered. He knew his technique was flawed and people could see through it, but since they couldn't see who he really was, it didn't matter.

"Just curious." The woman smiled and leaned forward, "I like to solve puzzles."

"Solving puzzles is a good hobby. But like all hobbies, you have to do it in your own time. Don't waste mine." Yontu said with a bit of killing intent mixed with Golden Aura. He didn't unleash fully this time, but for some reason, the aura he unleashed was even more suffocating. The five people in the room for a second forgot how to breathe but it went away just like that. Luckily, this time it only stood inside the room.

"S—sorry, Master Yontu. I spoke out of line." The woman said with sweat falling down her face.

"Talk," Yontu said as he leaned back. It was the broker who collected his shit together first so he passed out a paper. Jiang Yong took the paper and brought it to Yontu. He opened it and looked at the numbers.

"Why should I sell my formula when I can earn this amount in 3 years?" He asked with a mocking smile.

The broker looked at the old man with his eyes wide open. In three years? Three!? What he offered was not a small amount and the man said he could earn it in three years? He picked out a talisman from his ring and lit it immediately.

In the meantime, Xu Yong sat straight and looked at the old man, "Master Yontu, I checked with branches of all Duke Tier powers but no branch had heard your great name. I have no authority to question bigger powers, so I am not sure if your esteemed self is part of the association. But I would like to invite you as the highest honorary elder anyway."

"Empty titles are no use to me," Yontu said slowly.

"Of course, Master Yontu, but with this title, any shopping you do in any Duke Tier Alchemy Associations will be 50 percent off. You will also earn 50.000 gold every month. Of course, you will also earn 5 percent from every sale under your patented formulas, so in the long term, it is a better deal for you, no?" Xu Yong said.

To be honest, it was. This formula wouldn't stay in the Kingdom only. All the Duke Tier powers would learn his formula and sell it in their organizations. The number of people who would buy his medicines would multiply by thousands, and even though he would only get 5 percent from every sale, it was already great. He would earn millions in a single month.

There was also a discount clause. He could buy anything from any Duke Tier power with 50 percent off. This was a big deal. If he could score some rare plants, Botanist Ezio would grow them. He would plant a money tree, literally. But he would still not accept it. His ambitions were big, and he wasn't planning on staying in Duke Tier powers for the rest of his life. And for the time being, he needed quick cash, which is why he refused.

"Still not interested. I am happy with my current partners." He said and turned to the woman, who was still looking at the table, "And what are you offering?"

"N—nothing, Master Yontu." The woman said in a stutter.

"Hmm?" He raised his eyebrow. The woman flinched as he pointed at others.

"What I am going to say is not about the medicines, please, sir. Can I have a private talk with you?" She looked at the old master in begging eyes.

Yontu looked at others and said, "Dismissed."

"Please consider our offer, Master Yontu." Xu Yong bowed and left.

"I will visit again, Master Yontu." The broker was almost prostrated. The Jiang Duo also left and closed the door. Yontu looked at the woman and waited for her to speak. He wasn't in the mood to entertain others,

"Master Yontu, I am Mo Zan, head of the Purple Mirror Branch in the kingdom. How much do you know of the machinations currently going on in this Kingdom?" She eventually said. Yontu raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. She timidly lowered her gaze.

"I know enough." He said ambiguously.

"I am here to tell you that, you are not allowed to meddle in th—" Before she could answer her sentence, the same deadly aura hit her, making her eyes roll back. After keeping it for a few seconds, Yontu pulled it back and looked at the salivating woman.

"You are in no position to tell me what I can do or not," Yontu said with irritation.

"I am not, Master Yontu." She said pitifully, "—but I was warned by my organization to notify you, that if you meddle in, they will send people from Kingdom Tier Powers to escort you out."

"Tell them they are welcome to try," Yontu said as he smirked. "I have no interest in this Kingdom nor little prince. But if they come to knock on my door, know that I won't stand back."

"That is everything we ask for, Master Yontu. Even if it's the main actor, so long as it is not you who starts it, you can do anything."
