Third Signium

"Sir, the King wanted us to tell you he took the groom for a walk. The groom seemed nervous." Sir Remon whispered to Taro Mars's ears. Then, waited for his answer.

"Hmm." The latter nodded as he let his spiritual perception cover the palace, but he failed to feel his nephew or Ezio. He looked at Yontu, who was smiling back, and felt something was wrong. "Excuse me, gentlemen, I must deal with something."

"What is the problem, Mr. Mars? It is rude to leave your guests on the table." Yontu said as he tapped on the table. It was meaningless for others, but Sir Remon listened to the taps closely as he nodded.

"It is an urgent business," Taro said, but others stood up as well. Envoys looked at each other at the same time and surrounded Taro Mars and Mo Zan. The two of them couldn't leave the palace, even if they had to die. Envoys were at first hesitant, but the reward promised to them was great.

As soon as they did, a loud rumbling shook the windows of the ballroom. At the same time, Taro Mars felt many presences appeared in the garden. As if they were coming out of nowhere.

He looked at the room and saw people from Demeter's Blessing were also taking the position. Luckily before his warning, Knights started to fill the room. But he couldn't see the guards.

"Can you please tell me what is going on?" He asked, but no one answered.

"You sure got me." Xiao Chen clapped his hands. "Well played. Truly well played."

"Thank you," Ezio said. The one next to Xiao Chen morphed back into Adrian. The Prince Consort looked at him in hatred.

"I could have killed you, but I let you live." He hissed.

"I will kill you though," Adrian smirked. His Qi and Mana flared at the same time, as six signiums appeared on top of his head.

His first Mana Signium was the Wand of Darkhand. It allowed him to control the darkness elemental spells. The second was a hat with an eye on it. It allowed him to see in the dark, and illusions. The last one was Feathers of Peacock. It allowed him to use illusions.

He raised his left hand and pulled out his sword with his right hand. Black-green flames covered the sword.

At the same time, Xiao Chen also got prepared. He was holding a giant sword in his two hands, and all six of his Signiums were flaring.

Ezio pulled out Tenebras Lux and was waiting at the back.

"So, you think just because you were able to pull me here, you can win? Do you forget how powerful I am?" Xiao Chen smiled as he pulled out a talisman. Ezio recognized the inscriptions on the small paper. It was a long-distance telepathy talisman. He did nothing and watched as Prince Consort filled the small paper with his Qi.

The small paper burned to the crisp, but when the message was about to rush out, it bounced back. The air trembled a little bit, but other than that, nothing happened.

"I've planned this for a year, Chen. The whole year was spent on planning. For every single step, I tested them in my mind a hundred times. Every word you speak, I heard them a hundred times. Every expression you do on your face, I saw a hundred times. I planned everything." Ezio said with a smile as he took a step closer.

Xiao Chen immediately understood what he meant. He looked around and saw all the monsters were getting up. They were also closing in.

"Stop!" He shouted, but the monsters ignored him. "I am the ruler of the domain. You are from the domain right! I order you to fight for your lord!"

Monsters ignored him and walked forward. Unfortunately, none of them were strong enough to deal with Xiao Chen. After all, Prince Consort was a genius who could jump stages. Although three of the monsters were Fifth Tier Demonic Beast, they were only low-tier. They alone couldn't deal with Xiao Chen. And because of Xiao Chen's previous order, they were now outside of the concealing formation Formy set up. If Ezio were to allow the monsters in, Taro Mars would feel his nephew's location in a heartbeat. Although he was locked down by others, Ezio couldn't take that risk.

Unfortunately for Prince Consort, Adrian and Ezio were also there. They were both at Qi Crystallization Realmi First Layer now. Although Prince Consort was on the Second Layer, two of them could make up that gap with their combined powers.

"I am the only Lord here, Chen," Ezio smirked as his Signiums flared. If it wasn't for Adrian, he would show Xiao Chen his true Signiums and even Mana, but since Adrian was there, he had to hold back a little.

The Azure Wolf was the first. It howled to the sky, as it shook the formation around them. The Thunder Dragonfly was the second. It looked at the Prince Consort with arrogance. The third one was the most intimidating one.

The Millennium Yin Pill Yontu cooked on the day he accepted Ezio as his disciple had a greater effect than Ezio initially thought. Ezio at first thought he wouldn't be able to go to High-Tier in the Sixth Curtain, but the Pill carried his soul all the way to the Peak area.

There, he found the Signium he was destined to. There wasn't any beckoning or anything, it was just when he looked at it, that he knew it was the right one for him.

The humanoid figure with a crown on his head, sitting on his throne. The shadows were dancing around him. In his hand, he was holding a sword. The sword was pitch black like the night.

There were black ornaments on the black crown. Although the shade was almost the same, Ezio could feel the effect of each stone was different. How many shades did the black color have? He didn't know, but from one single silhouette, he could see many.

Ezio felt that his third Signium had to be this. For no other reason than that crown. Since the Sixth Curtain Signiums allowed him to morph into those, he could summon the crown on his head.

Childish, may be, but he didn't care. He wanted that crown!
