Ch. 37 Quick-witted Lori (part 1)

For two hours, Lori was pampered with views of the green grass on both sides as well as the typical Dutch windmill building and various kinds of flowers adorned their journey.

Anxia couldn't help but enjoy this trip with a fairytale-like view. It would be a perfect day if only Richard hadn't sat so close to her.

Along the course, the quick-witted Lori had become good at using her mother's smartphone and taking candid photos of her parents sitting next to each other.

Her mother looked to the right while her father didn't stop talking to her. Richard invited Anxia to speak from time to time, but the woman only answered as briefly as possible without turning her head.

Lori sighed heavily as if she was an adult who had resigned herself to thinking about the complicated things she was going through. She was pretty distraught to see her mother stubbornly unwilling to open up to her father's advances.
