Ch. 99 Anxia Is Unhappy

Anxia didn't want to ruin the sweet moment with her sudden gloominess. She rose to her feet and walked into the dressing room before closing the sliding door.

"Mommy? What happens?" Lori tilted her head as she asked her father.

Richard shook his head the same way Lori did in answering him. "Who knows? Alright, it's time for you to take a nap."

Lori pursed her lips at her father's last words. "But I still want to play."

Richard flicked his daughter's nose fondly, "You can keep playing after napping. Be a good girl, now."

Lori obediently let her father pick her up and laid her on the bed. After arranging the pillows around Lori so his baby girl wouldn't roll over and fall, Richard kissed her daughter on the forehead.

He stroked Lori's head in a gentle motion making Lori's eyelids feel heavier. It didn't take long for Lori's eyelids to close entirely, and the child fell fast asleep.
