Ch. 280 The Secret Passage

Anxia sighed resignedly at her son's request before finally following Elliot's instruction. She didn't have the means of communication to get in touch with Richard. But her LMYT bracelet was glowing red, and she knew that Richard and his team would intrude tonight.

Only, she didn't know what time it would be, the rendezvous point, or what kind of plans the man had in taking her away. She didn't even know how her husband would get Jamie, Mei Yin, and her father off the island unnoticed.

In her distress, Liam appeared out of nowhere with this mysterious crane origami which seemed to be a secret message only Elliot could understand. Anxia was curious but couldn't ask, remembering the walls and floor had eyes and ears, and she couldn't possibly use a frequency-jamming device a second time.

Luckily, Anxia had read a book on sign language for the past two days, so she could communicate with Jamie and Elliot without making a sound.
