Grotesque Monster (1/3)
[DAY 10]
Neo watches the situation in the apartment building from the rooftop opposite with a big smile.
He can sense a total of 10 people in the building. The three figures he knows who entered the building a few minutes ago. Two new characters standing at a door to an apartment that one of the three was about to enter. An old man with a shotgun in his hand and a woman in his 30s who just threatened to kill the three if they didn't drop their weapons on the spot.

"Wait, don't shoot, we didn't know anyone was here!" said Meram he tried to calm the situation down before an accident happened.
"Pah, I don't trust you, you belong to this sect and you just want to cause trouble, I'll give you one more chance, drop your weapons or you'll have some new holes in your body!" shouted the old man
Ninette, Donatien and Meram were frozen, the three of them come from a small remote village where technology is seen as a sin, but in this new world they have already seen what these strange weapons can do, in the survivor base police officers carry such and similar weapons. They know how easy it is to kill undead with it, you can't dodge a gun.
Fear didn't paralyze Ninette for long and she decided to lay the bow she was holding until now on the floor.

After that, the woman standing next to the old man said that the three should go to the wall opposite the door. She then collected the various weapons and brought them into the apartment. Meanwhile, the old man was still aiming at the three, but his weapon has now been lowered a bit.

'Mhm... it's supposed to be... ahh, there it is.' Neo thought to himself and when he said that, a grotesque figure suddenly jumped out of the shadow of the banister into the hallway.

Everyone in the hallway looked at the monster and froze in fear

This thing was 3 meters (10 feet) tall and didn't have a real head, instead, its head was just a big mouth with thousands of tiny razor sharp teeth. The creature walked hunched over all six arms it had. Well, if you want to call those things arms. Where the hand should normally be, there were long blades that looked like swords. The creature doesn't have legs, but instead has a 2-meter-long tail reminiscent of a scorpion's sting.
The creature moves very strangely. It freezes for a while, looking like it has lost its orientation. But the next moment it moves at lightning speed only to stop again. It moves slowly along the floor, along the walls and the ceiling and goes in the direction of the people.

Although the three of them are still feeling incredible fear, they turn their eyes from the monster, which is still a good distance away, to the old man, who has meanwhile aimed his gun at the monster with shaky hands.
"Please let us in, we don't belong to the cult, we belong to a survivor base in the mall at 85 street. Please let us in and if this thing attacks us, we'll help you." whispered Meram to the old man.
But before he could answer, the woman who brought the three weapons into the apartment came back. She walks out of the apartment into the hallway and gets the shock of her life when she sees the monster at the other end.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" she cried out so loud you could think her soul just got stolen.

It wasn't until the old man put his hand over her mouth that she stopped screaming. But it was already too late the monster on the other end heard her and all of a sudden, it drastically increased its speed and is running, climbing and jumping with strange movements towards the scream.
"KRAKKRAK!"
"KARKKARKARKAR!!"
"KRAKAKKAKAKAKAKAK!!!"
The monster made this sound as it got closer and its teeth began to rotate in a circular motion.

The three reacted quickly and all ran in the direction of the apartment entrance, the old man also pulled the woman who had just screamed into the apartment and then closed the door when everyone was inside and locked it.

***Before the monster appears in the hallway
Neo could feel the being even before it appeared in the hallway. But when he saw it with his own eyes, he opened his eyes wide.
'This is... This is a Stage 2...' Neo thought to himself.
He didn't know why he believed that, but his instincts warned him not to attack the monster.

"HAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAH" Neo suddenly laughed

He has a total of 8 magazines with 9 cartridges (9mm) in the magazine, so he has 72 rounds each. But he doubts they can do any harm to the Stage 2 undead. In addition, he carries a large fire ax on his back and has 4 self-made Molotov cocktails, which he only recently built. Oh, and he also has a taser that has exactly one charge left. The taser is powerful enough to immobilize an adult man for a set amount of time. Neo doesn't think he'll need the taser, but he takes it with him just in case.
These are all the weapons he has and will use in this fight. If possible, he wants to avoid using his claws, especially since you can tell with them that he is not human.
