Chapter 87: A Home

Nyrissa watched her husbands exchange glances and then open their mouths to argue again, but she silenced them with a glare.

She pointed toward the bedroom. "Now!"

Her voice snapping through the room put a fire under both Ryan and Quentin. They both turned and hurried toward their bedroom like a couple of scolded boys.

Nyrissa followed them, biting back a smile before following them. She was absolutely furious at them but found the humor in watching their eyes widen like they had been caught with their hands in the cookie jar. As she walked into the room, the smile almost broke the surface when she found them both sitting on opposite sides of the off-white sofa that took up a large portion of the sitting area.

The smile on her face died when she saw just how truly miserable Ryan looked. He seemed to shrink into the couch. It killed her to see him like this, so hurt and defeated.
