The Pirates Movement (1)

After he left, Masterson made the crowd disperse and finally asked the boy, "What's your name."

"My Name is... Usopp," The boy answered with a pained expression as if his name gave him physical pain.

....

"Huh... Usopp? " Masterson felt the name was familiar.

'Where have I heard it before?...' Masterson thought as he placed his hand on his chin and looked at Usopp deeply.

'Where... Where...'

"Mr.Sniper?" Usopp looked at Masterson with a puzzled look. Nami and Carol quietly looked at the two men.

'Hey, if you ever meet my kid, please take care of him if you can.' Masterson remembered the encounter that he had with the sniper of Redhair pirates.

'Right from Yasopp!' Masterson's expression brightened when he remembered. He quickly asked Usopp, "Is your father Yasopp of the Red-hair Pirates?"

"Yasopp? That's my old man's nam- You know my old man! Where is he? he is with part of the Red-hair pirate!" Masterson's question instantly got the attention of Usopp, who had a look of shock, blame, anger, and much more emotions were radiating from the blind boy.

"I see... you are his son..." Masterson's eyes widened when he heard what Usopp said.

He didn't expect that he would encounter Yasopp's kid like this...

He looked at the blind boy with sadness and guilt. He failed the man who spared him and gave him a new perspective on life after his wife's death.

"Do you know where he is- No are you his friend?" Usopp's question interrupted Masterson from his thought.

"Sigh... I don't know exactly where he is, but I know his general location. As for the other question... I don't know." Masterson said as he looked at the sky. He doesn't know what to call his relationship with Yasopp is? They were enemies until that dual... After that, he doesn't know what to call it.

"Anyway, let's leave all of those questions for later."

Masterson extended one of his arms as he continued saying.

"Welcome to Baroque Works, Mr. LongNose"

And like that, Masterson took another boy under his wing.

....

Now back to the Present.

At some point, Masterson became quiet after talking about his past. He got lost in his memories of the bitter and good days he spent those past few months.

While Zoro was processing what he heard from Masterson and Zeff, he was increasingly getting fed up with B.W.'s means of dealing with people. (A.N.: For those who forget, they were talking about how B.W. blackmailed them)

For now, he wouldn't do anything until the fight against Mr. 1. so he will wait until then.

"Didn't you come here to learn about the pirates' movement?" Zeff said, trying to change the subject and bring those two back.

"Yes, what are they doing," Masterson said after snapping from his memories.

"What is so important that you couldn't tell us through the Den Den Mushi?" Zoro said as he looked at the Blonde chef.

They noticed that Zeff wanted to change the subject, but they didn't stop him since it was true that it was their primary goal to come here.

"2 days ago, a man claiming to be part of Krieg Pirates

came here to invite me to a pirate gathering that Don Krieg is hosting."

Zeff paused for a moment to let those two process the information. He continued, "And only pirates with bounties over 5 million were invited."

"What!" Zoro and Masterson exclaimed. In the East Blue, there are a considerable amount of pirates with bounties over 5 million, which is why what B.W. is doing is considered insane since it is challenging and time-consuming to locate all of them. But now, one pirate with a bounty over 17 million was able to do it? How?

"Why is he inviting them? And how does he know their location" Masterson muttered in a low voice as he placed his hand on his chin to ponder about it.

But Zeff didn't have the patience to wait for him to figure it out, so he said. "It's because of you, the Baroque Works."

"Us?" Zoro pointed at himself as he said that, but after thinking about it, it made perfect sense why they gathered after he thought about it.

This week, Baroque Works hunted pirates nonstop as they slowly pushed them to the corner, leaving them with no option but to do something about it. And what Zeff says next confirms his theory.

"From the looks on your faces, you might have guessed it," Zeff said as he looked at Zoro and Masterson's changing expressions. He then points at them as he continues.

"From what I gather from the pirate, most pirates are fed up from being hunted by you or the Marines. And when they got an invitation from Don Krieg to discuss a solution to this problem, they jumped at it."

"..." Zoro and Masterson became quiet after hearing that. Zeff said what he had on his mind after learning about this.

"What is troubling me is how Don Krieg learned the location of all the pirates when it took you(B.W.) five months to gather it? The only way is that if he-"

"Has a spy in Baroque Works..." Masterson finished Zeff's sentence with a grim look. 'If the spy could gather this top secret information, then what about the data on the agents!'

The more Masterson thought it, the grimmer his expression became.

"When is the meeting, and why didn't you tell us this through the Den Den?" Zoro asked with an equally grim expression. B.W. has gathered information on him, so if the pirates could get it, his hometown might be in great danger.

"The meeting will begin two days later, so even if I told you about it, you wouldn't be able to do anything about it," Zeff said since it is impossible to gather a large fleet of people in three days to raid a pirate gather of this scale.

"..." Zoro and Masterson become silent after hearing what Zeff said; they knew he was right. If they wanted to raid a gathering of almost all the pirates with bounties over 5 million and higher, they would need to mobilize more than 70 to 80 percent of the agents and even use the help of the marines, which isn't possible in 3 days.

"Call Bryan. He might need this information if he didn't already have it," Zoro said.

"Zeff, may I use your Den Den?" Masterson said as he pointed at the sleeping Den Den Mushi on Zeff's office table.

"Sure," Zeff said. Masterson quickly walked toward it and then dialed the B.W. Main office number.

Pur... Pur... Pur-Clack!

"Who is it?" Bryan's stern voice and expression were transmitted through the snail. Mr.Mountain here

"It's me. How've you been, Bryan?" Masterson smiled when he heard Bryan's voice. They might've spent a little time together, but he felt he had gotten a good understanding of Bryan's character and personality to the point that he was confident in leaving B. W in his hands.

"Daniel!! Jajajaj! I've been doing fine. What about you? And where is Zoro?" Bryan's expression brightened when he heard Masterson's voice. This week was straining and difficult for him, from leading the agents to having political struggles with Miss. LittleFinger and her followers over the management of Baroque Works and much more.

(A.N.: If you forgot, LittleFinger is an O.C character, who is a billion agent following Mr.1 and DoubleFingers command, She was handed control over the illegal trades that B.W does and expected to become Zoro or Bryan's partner.)

He wished that it was him that went with Masterson instead of that sword maniac.

"Hohoho, we been fine, and Zoro is here" Masterson's smile grew when he saw Bryan's expression. He handed the handset to the smirking greenhead.

"Yo TinyMountain, have you become stronger?" Zoro's said with an excited tone

"Jajajaja Yeah, I've gotten mush stronger Jajajaj! Let's spar when your back," Bryan laughed loudly as he looked forward to their match.

"Sure," Zoro said with his signature smirk plastering his face. He had been inching to fight him since they met, and now that they both had a new trick up their sleeves, he wanted to fight him even more.

"Zoro, give me the mic," Masterson said, which Zoro complied with and gave him the mic.

"Bryan, do you know about the pirate gathering that Don Krig is Hosting?" Masterson had a severe look on his face. This matter is to be taken seriously since it has the capability to change the power structure in the East Blue.

Bryan was surprised by the question since he didn't think those two might learn about it while being so busy hunting the pirates, and so he says

"... Yes, 5 days ago, all our agents' reports had something in common, and it's that all the pirates with bounties over 5 million were sailing in the same direction, the North."

"I sent some of our agents in the north to scout what is happening there when we got a piece of information from our agent, who is acting undercover as a pirate captain. He told us that Don Krieg, the captain of the Krieg Pirates is hosting a pirate gathering..."
