Chapter 16 - Girlfriend
After breakfast, Dave got ready to leave, with Draco riding comfortably on his shoulders as they walked outside his dorm.
Draco was undeniably adorable and incredibly dependent on him.
Because of this, Dave decided to take him outside for some fresh air.
Dave's recent appearance at the auction had become a hot topic in the city, with countless people speculating about the mysterious creature hidden inside the egg he had purchased.
Five minutes later, as he strolled along, many people noticed Draco and were astonished to see a dragon in such an unusual place.
The rumors from the Auction House had spread like wildfire, and everyone assumed the dragon was connected to the mysterious egg.
He could feel the many curious gazes directed at Draco. Dragons were exceptionally rare, and in the Spirit World, there were only a few dragons with relatively weak bloodlines.
The most powerful dragon in this world was the legendary spirit beast of the Dragon Empire, although it hadn't been seen in many years. It typically only emerged when the empire faced a crisis.
He had even heard that his own father had never laid eyes on the Dragon because it had entered a dormant state.

Dave ignored the notifications, deciding to check them later in his dorm.
Draco, perched on his shoulder, curiously observed his surroundings.
Dave patted the dragon's head, smiling as they continued their walk.
As they wandered around, he offered some snacks to Draco, who happily munched on the food he had purchased without a care in the world.
Draco's cuteness easily captured the attention of many girls, causing them to stop and stare.
When they arrived in the classroom, Dave took his seat, and Draco settled down on the table.
"Wow! A dragon!"
The students were both stunned and excited to witness a real-life dragon.
They had previously only encountered dragons in pictures, which depicted them as fierce and frightening creatures.
However, Draco's adorable appearance had a charming effect on the girls, melting their hearts.
Even the boys were amazed, but not one of them dared to look at Dave with envy, knowing it would be equivalent to inviting their own demise.
They were all well aware that a single mistake could lead to their entire family facing serious consequences from the guardian.
Many students tried to pet Draco, but the dragon bared its fangs as if warning them to back off. It allowed only Dave to handle it.
Just then, the Tigress entered the room, her face flushed as she glanced at Dave.
Dave smiled, using his skill "Dream" to project an intimate scene between him and Rose.
Although Rose couldn't understand why she had such a dream, she felt flustered, recalling her discomfort from that morning.
When she noticed Draco, she was astounded. Dragons were rare creatures, after all.
While she had met the Divine Beast of the Empire before, this baby dragon was still impressive, and she couldn't gauge its power accurately.
She was sure it was stronger than she was. Turning to Dave, who was smiling, she asked, "Why are you looking at me like that? Do you want to bully me again? I've already reached Top-tier Grandmaster after my father allowed me to absorb the Dragon Pool in the castle."
Her classmates were taken aback and quickly congratulated her.
"Congratulations, Princess!"
"Congratulations, Princess!"
"Congratulations, Princess!"
Rose smiled, her confidence soaring as she basked in the praise from her peers.
Dave regarded her with a mildly foolish expression, which immediately irritated Rose.
She considered striking him, but then he declared, "I've already reached Low-Tier King Level, so now you're my girlfriend."
Dave purposely kept his true power hidden, not wanting to reveal it to anyone. He only wanted to disclose that he was at the Low-tier King level.
"What?"
The other students were equally surprised and couldn't help but congratulate him, hoping to gain favor with him.
At such a young age, he had already reached King-tier level, making it seem as if they were living in entirely different worlds.
"Congratulations, Young Master Dave."
"You deserve to be called a genius."
Rose was stunned and felt defeated. She aspired to grow stronger to challenge Dave, but for now, he had triumphed.
Dave smiled, hugging her waist as he said, "I hope you'll obey our contract, my lovely Rose," whispering in her ear. Her face flushed a deep red at his words.
Everyone in the room was taken aback to see the typically tyrannical princess blush. It seemed that only Dave had such an effect on her.
Rose didn't know how to respond, but she knew she dared not violate their contract. Reluctantly, she replied, "Okay, you win, but I don't like you touching me."
Dave grinned and teased, "How can I not touch my girlfriend? I'll report to the emperor that you didn't respect our contract."
Rose felt alarmed and quickly agreed, "Okay, okay, don't report me to my father."
She was scared and didn't dare to argue with Dave, who now had the upper hand.
Teacher Lina was in the classroom, teaching survival skills to her students when they were in the wild. She occasionally glanced at Dave, recollecting their recent encounter.
She couldn't help but feel embarrassed and unsure how to face him.
Seeing him flirt with Rose from time to time only added to her irritation.
Despite her discomfort, she chose not to disrupt the class and continued with her teaching.

In the royal castle, various important figures gathered in the hall. The emperor received information that someone had spotted Dave walking with a dragon on his shoulders.
At first, he had thought about going to the auction house to buy the egg himself, but reports of movements from the Turtle Empire had caused him to hesitate.
Later, he learned that the guardian's son had won the bid, which relieved his concerns. He believed the egg was in the right hands.
He was convinced that no one would dare to snatch it from the guardian's son due to the formidable influence of his father.
Even the emperor himself was wary of the guardian.
He recalled an incident from when they were both 15 years old, in which numerous geniuses from other empires had attempted to ambush the guardian.
In response, the guardian had single-handedly defeated 200 geniuses from three other empires, earning widespread fame.
Witnessing that, the emperor understood the terrifying nature of the guardian and refrained from provoking him, knowing him to be a ruthless individual.
Many years passed, and the guardian's strength continued to rise, but the emperor remained at the Top-Tier Heavenly Sage level.
Although his current power level was uncertain, he had already reached Peak-Tier by the time he turned 30.
The guardian, now 45 years old, remained an enigmatic figure, and nobody knew the extent of his true power.
