Sometimes Wording Is All It Takes

"A mere commoner!? Did you see her dress!? If she was just some random commoner, would she be wearing a better dress than you!? Now tell me, how did you know she was a commoner!?" I yelled out as I reached over and grabbed the girl's wrist and tanked her down to my level.

"Ah! My-My maid overheard her talking!" She let out a cry as she fell to the floor. I then put my foot on her chest and coldly looked down at her.

"Oh? So weak that you can't even fend off a five year old? And you dared cause trouble here at this celebration!? And just because of your maid's words!?" I yelled as I sneered at her. The crowd around us began laughing, causing the girl's face to turn bright red. But it would soon turn pale as I raised my little foot while wrenching the girl's arm backwards and stepped right on her elbow.

"Ahhhh! You will break it! Stop! I'm sorry!" The girl cried out, tears now streaming from her eyes.

I sneered as I looked up at one of the maids who had a tray of drinks. I pointed at her and asked: "Excuse me, but can you please bring that tray over here for me?"

"Me? Ah yes…." The servant seemed a little taken aback and a bit fearful, but she quickly came over with the tray. I smiled and said: "Thank you. But can you place it on the floor and back away? I do not wish to dirty someone's clothing that is innocent."

The maid nodded her head and placed the tray that had ten drinks on it onto the floor. They all smelled of alcohol and were the same red color as the juice the girl spilled on Mimi. I picked up the first glass and looked at the girl who was now staring at me in horror and smiled sweetly at her. "You are lucky we are in the castle. Do you know the punishment for harming someone from my family?"

The girl shook her head violently to the point that it might have come off if it was not securely attached. But to this, my grin got wider as I leaned down and replied softly: "I would slit your throat and toss you out into the street naked to shame your dead body." Fear. I could tell this was all that this girl felt at this moment. I would never do something to shame a girl's body like that, but the words themselves had served their purpose.

I held the glass in my hand and swirled the red substance that was in it around as I inspected it. "I tell you what. I will not break your arm or anything else as long as you spend the rest of the party drenched in these ten glasses of wine. And you must at least dance with three different boys. What do you think? I am being quite fair, am I not?"

The girl nodded. She seemed to have forgotten how to speak. I smiled and tilted the glass in my hand over her head, pouring the contents onto the girl's golden blonde hair, which was now a tinge redder. The red wine then dripped down to her white dress and down her back. I followed this up with the last of the nine classes making sure to pour a few right on her dress. She looked like a mess. But maybe this will finally teach this girl to never treat others like this again in her life. Although I think she has already committed social suicide.

As the last glass fell onto her body, a shrewd voice yelled out from the crowd. "What is going on here!? Samantha, what is going on!? My poor dear!? Why would anyone do this to you!?"

The woman who burst through the crowd was a chubby woman with heavy makeup and loads of jewelry. She seemed to have tried a little too hard to doll herself up. She looked at her daughter in horror before slowly tracing her daughter's outstretched arm towards me. "You! What are you doing to my baby!?"

"Huh? Can't you see? I am bullying her." I said flatly, causing a round of laughter from the crowd.

"You dare bully my baby!? What did she ever do to you!?" The woman shrieked. She stomped over to me, but I only smiled and twisted her daughter's arm once more, causing the girl to yell out.

"Ahhh! Mommy stop! Don't go near her!" The girl seemed quite smart. Her mother did indeed stop what she was doing.

"Baby!" The woman cried out as she glared at me. "Let her go right now! Or else you will pay the price once His Majesty learns about this!"

"Huh? Why would I care what he thinks?" I asked plainly, causing the crowd to suck in a cold breath of air. I just shrugged and stared at the woman with a playful smile on my lips.

"Bella!" A voice echoed across the hall as a certain annoying pest suddenly appeared. If this was a game, I would have the option to kill, but it seems my system lacks this feature.

Everyone stared at the figure in the white dress and silver crown on her head. They all quickly bowed to her except for me, of course. "Please raise your heads. We are here for a celebration. No need to act so stiff." The brat said with her head held high before turning to look at me. "So Bella, what are you doing?"

Before I could even answer, the girl's mother yelled out: "Princess! Please be a witness to this bastard child's violent actions! She beat up my daughter and will not let her go!"

"Huh? Who are you calling a bastard child!?" Princess Leslie yelled out. "You dare call a duke's daughter a bastard child!?"

"A d-d-dukes d-daughter!?" The woman's face paled as she looked at me. She then looked at her daughter and then back at me before bowing her head. "Please have mercy!"

"I already gave your daughter mercy. She just needs to stay dressed like this the entire time and dance with three different boys as punishment. Or…. She might wake up dead tomorrow." I replied with a sweet smile.

"Bella, enough playing around." My mother's voice came from behind me. I turned and pursed my lips as I replied: "I think I am already being nice enough, Mother…."

"I know, but you should still know when to quit. Do you wish to spend your entire time here playing with idiots or enjoy some of the sweets that the castle has prepared? Plus, His Majesty wishes to see you. So come on." My mother answered, causing me to toss the girl's arm down. I heard a yelp of pain as I stomped on her knee before walking away. Princess Leslie pulled her eyelid at the mother and daughter pair and stuck her tongue out as she followed after me. She was a strange girl, that is for sure.

I walked back over to the table where Mimi was sitting next to Ray with her head lowered. I walked over to her and hugged her. "If that happens again just yell for me at the top of your lungs. I will come running, okay?"

"Mm…. Thank you, Bella." Mimi hugged me back. I could feel her nuzzling my shoulder.

"And if I am not around. Just yell out for Ray or Preston. Even my mother or father. They will all come to your rescue, okay? I mean, Ray wanted to run over immediately, but I told him I would take care of it." I said teasingly, causing Ray and Mimi to blush. With their reactions, it might be possible for them to get together in the future. I will have to talk to my mother and father about this. Well, as long as things are still good between them at that time.

"Bella, come on!" My mother called out to me. I sighed and followed after her. Princess Leslie was still following me around like a lost puppy.

When I walked toward the stairs leading to the balcony area, I saw king, my uncle, standing with a big smile on his face. "Hehe, I heard you had some fun with some noble's daughter. I think you did well upholding your family's name."

"She just happened to touch someone she shouldn't have," I replied honestly. If it was someone outside my family, I probably would have ignored it. But this was different. I knew Mimi and that Mimi was a kind girl who would never try to harm others for no reason. If it was a stranger, I would have no right to butt in because I would not know what led up to the situation. Only if I knew all the facts might I step in but only if I knew the facts.

So sadly for that girl, now she has to deal with being tormented for being beaten up by a five year old. But I do wonder if people asked themselves why a five year old is so strong… Well, not that I really care enough to ask around.. For now I just needed to know why I was being called up here. "Why did you call for me?"
