FIRST MISSION

"What is going on here?" a woman spoke as she suddenly appeared right amid Dave's group.

"Is nothing serious Miss Cynthia, we were just testing out our skills" Dave answered as his sabers suddenly disappeared from his hands.

"If so, then were you the one who caused the strange event that just happened a while ago?" Cynthia asked as her eyes sharpened.

"What if I said yes?" Dave answered back with a question as he stared at Cynthia with a calm look on his face. Although the people who came with him along with Austin had disbelief expressions on their faces, Cynthia still kept the sharpened look on her face as she stared at Dave.

But after some moments of silence, Cynthia suddenly had a tired look as she spoke.

"Then there is nothing much I can do. You are basically in the same Rank as me at such a young age so I don't have the authority to probe you"

Although Dave's group disbelief expression intensified after hearing what Cynthia said, Dave still had a calm look on his face as he asked.

"Surely this isn't the only reason why you came here right?"

'This boy is cunning' Cynthia thought as she answered Dave's question with a solemn expression.

"I came to tell you guys that your beast hunters squad has been registered in the beast hunters points center. Here are your special emblems for your squad"

After speaking up to this point, she suddenly waved her right hand as diamond-shaped objects flew toward Dave. But when the emblems were right In front of him, they suddenly stopped in the air.

While floating in mid-air, Dave picked one and began to inspect It. The emblem was colored In black as golden lines were used to write the word "Divine Beast Hunters" on it. at the back of the emblem were runes written all over it, It also gave off a faint feeling if one inspected the rune thoroughly.

"Lord Xavier said you should come to the beast hunters points center tomorrow with your squad to get your first mission so that your squad will be recognized as a squad from the capital" Cynthia suddenly spoke with a tinge of reverence on her face.

"Huh? isn't my squad recognized yet?" Dave asked as he looked up to stare at Cynthia with a confused expression on his face. But what Cynthia answered next made Dave curse internally.

"Lord Xavier said he will explain everything to you tomorrow when you come to the beast hunters points center"

After answering Dave's question, she first slightly bowed before she mysteriously vanished from that area.

'So much for the world's strongest human' Dave thought as he brought all the emblems floating in mid-air into his arms.

"So who are you going pick to be into your squad?" Viona suddenly asked she had an anticipating expression on her face. Not only her but everyone around Dave had anticipation up their face. But what Dave said next made them sigh with relief.

"Everyone come get your emblems," said Dave while offering the emblems in his hands to everyone around him.

"So what next cap?" Jake suddenly spoke immediately after getting his emblem. Although everyone had a surprised expression when they heard what Jake called Dave, Dave didn't even flinch as he answered.

"Rest up for tomorrow"

But before everyone flew out of that area, Dave suddenly pointed at Austin as he continued.

"Except you. Watch up and pack your things to come to live with us"

With an embarrassed smile, Austin answered.

"Yes, Da... I mean captain"

And so, everyone went to their houses. When Dave got into what seemed to be their new home, he asked the people behind him.

"Did they renovate this place or they just built demolish the old one and build this one?"

"They did the latter part of what you said" Muzi answered. The interior design of the house they were in now is similar to the old one but this time there is a stair on the right side of the house which leads to more rooms on the second floor.

Although what Dave saw made him admire the job the architecture and the builders did, he didn't dwell on that for long as he quickly asked.

"Where is the master's bedroom?"

"Upstairs, the last door at your left" Jonah quickly answered. After hearing what Jonah said, he quickly spoke while vanishing from where he stood.

"See you all tomorrow"

When Dave reappeared back, he saw himself in front of the door. After opening the door, he suddenly felt intense energy coming out of the room.

'Fitting for a master bedroom' Dave thought with a smirk as he immediately walked in, climbed the bed in the room, and began to meditate.

Inside Dave, there is a golden energy core in his chest that is surrounded by three diamond like crystals. These crystals were made up of three different colors. One was Fire, the second one water while the third was completely black. The three crystals were all giving off different auras if one inspected it.

'I have a long way to go' Dave thought as he meditated on the diamond crystals. But after some time, he suddenly smirked as he thought.

'My first mission, here i come'
