Chapter 18 - Missing Containers

Jason was standing at the balcony of his office staring at the beautiful city and he was in deep thought. He sipped his black coffee while smirking, " I think someone is looking for every possible means to die but I would surely give him what he desire but not now, have patience just a little more time remaining ", he said as he laughed devilishly. Miss Xia his secretary entered his office after he granted her permission together with his personal assistant Kyle. " Sir you sent for me " Xia said,  " yes, call Miss Alicia Donald now " Jason said without turning back, when Xia left to carry out the order Kyle gave Jason some files and said to him " Boss you were right, it is the same person and it seems he is also dealing with illegal drugs and arms ", Jason kept his indifferent face while his back still faced Kyle " continue to keep an eye on Alicia, I don't want her to get into any trouble with his men while looking for evidence because she seems really persistent lately ". Jason said with a serious face, immediately Alicia entered his office after knocking and at the same time Kyle left. When Kyle was out of the office he smiled happily as he thought to himself " this is a miracle, boss actually cares for a woman aside his sister, I just hope I am not assuming things ".

" Good morning Sir, you sent for me " Alicia said. Jason stepped into his office, sat on his chair and spoke to Alicia who kept glaring at him. " Good Morning to you Alicia and stop glaring at me, I don't want to start this day badly and by the way have a sit ". " Thank goodness he offered me a sit, it seems his manners have improved overnight " Alicia thought to herself before speaking " Sir why did you send for me "

Jason looked more serious now as he said " I know Mrs Jane told you this morning that we have another of incident missing containers and it seems this is also linked to the first case ", " yes that's true, but I hope to get a hold of those custom officers so we would know the people involved in this " Alicia replied him. " I need you to report to me, every detail of the case, and make sure anytime you are going for field work I will go with you " Jason said in a ' no room for discussion ' tone. 

Alicia looked so surprised at what he said, " Sir I know you don't trust my abilities to carry out this task and I will prove myself to you but obviously you don't want to give me a chance and I was asked by Mrs Jane not to get assistance from anyone and also what will others think if they saw that you the C.E.O wants to assist me on a case, Alicia tried to reason out with him. " That's not a problem for you to worry about, and I am not helping you, just do as I say and I will talk to Mrs Jane. By the way you should stop caring about what others will think and concentrate on your Job because that's none of my business, you can leave now ", Jason said as he went back to the balcony leaving Alicia flustered and speechless. She stomped her feet and left his office angry at how rude he behaves with her. " He just say anything he likes and expect me to obey huh, I just hope he doesn't make my life unbearable while I work with him ".

Inside Jason's Office 

He sighed as he stared at the door " women are such a problem to deal with and it is quite more difficult when it comes to this wild cat ". He knew that this case isn't just a simple one but is rather critical and dangerous since the person responsible for all this is a hardened criminal and he doesn't know why but he does not want her to get hurt although he knows that she is very skilled in defence. His phone rang and when he saw the caller he answered the call , after he was done he kept his cell phone back and his face darkened, he went to the balcony again as he continued staring at the view of the city.
