Chapter 21 - Kidnap

" Lim why did you kidnap me, for crying out loud I am your fiancee " Carie said  furiously,  " This is not kidnapping and did you ever think of me as one before taking such step without informing me or going out with that fool " Lim said calmly. She really hated it when he spoke calmly despite being angry.  The car stopped at a beautiful property, she was sure that's one of Lim's numerous properties. When they stepped in, Lim carried her to a room and shut the door as they both entered. " Lim...uhm, what do you want to do to me, huh? " Carie asked him with a raised brow, " Darling do you think I want to force myself you " Lim said in a cold tone. " No, I am just curious ". " I want to clear up all the misunderstanding between us, I mean what happened three years ago ". He said in said in the same calm tone, " You know that l am not ready for all this now,  I want to go home " she said clearly. Lim was getting impatient by her stubbornness, he put her in a place and when he saw she wasn't making a fuss and was seated still he began. 

"  Three years ago, that night we went out on a date, Barbara came to me after you left, she wanted to have a talk with me, we sat and drank , we were still talking and that's when I noticed my head was spinning and my body was reacting weirdly, I suspected my drink had been spiked and I never thought she would do something like that, I passed out as I couldn't fight the strong effects of the drug no matter how hard I tried. When I woke up, it was already past midnight.  I saw that I was alone in a hotel room and that's when I received a call from Jason and he was really furious with me because he thought I broke your heart but I explained what happened to him he told me everything including that you were almost kidnapped. 

I came to meet you after I saw the s*x video and pictures Barbara sent to you but before could reach you to clear the air between us, you left the country heading for England without a word and you blocked me from your life for three years " Lim said softly looking really hurt. " I was hurt Lim I was, how do you expect me to handle seeing my fiancee and his ex making out,  I didn't believe the video so she sent me the hotel address and whe I opened the room door I saw you both under the sheet, she was moaning while you fu*ked her " Carie said crying her eyes out. " Do you think you are the only one hurt here , I am too, yes I know in the past I have been a notorious playboy but I changed because I wanna be the perfect guy for you, you should've at least trusted me and our love Carie, I realised that maybe our love wasn't enough to keep us together " Lim said breaking down in tears. 

Carie was surprised by what Lim said it was her fault and she failed to trust him and the love they share.  She was devastated because this was the first time she saw him breaking down like this, her heart shattered into a thousand pieces and her stubbornness was the cause of his pain. He suffered too just like her for three years, she felt really ashamed of herself and guilty.  Carie walked to where he squatted, knelt down to his level and wiped the tears on his face and hugged him tightly " I am so sorry love,  It was so selfish of me to have left without a word or giving you the chance to explain anything to me,  I am really sorry and just so you know l never stopped loving you no matter how hard I tried to hate you, seeing you in this state breaks my heart " Carie said softly.  He looked at her and his amber coloured eyes looked at her brown eyes with love, his gaze went down to her pink lips and he saw the way she wet it with her tongue and kept on biting her lower lip. He couldn't control the the feelings engulfing him, he captured her lips and kissed her, the kiss started off as soothing and passionate as if unspoken words were spoken but when Lim remembered Xander and he wanted to punish this daring woman. The kiss became hot and rough, Carie was already getting hot and Lim bit her lips before breaking the kiss, because he ended the kiss she furrowed her brows due to unsatisfaction and pouted her lips.

Lim chuckled and said to her, " don't worry baby, because the moment we get married I am gonna do things to you that would make scream for mercy and you will crave for more ". Carie blushed at what he said, she was suppose to be scared but within her she anticipated for that day. She walked with him to the dining where they sat and ate the food served to them by the butler, Carie used this opportunity to talk to Lim about her job application.  " Em, Lim I still want to work at Xander's hospital please ", Lim already spoke to Jason about this before going to the coffee shop and they already have a plan. He looked at her and said " You can work there but report to me if he is giving you any problems or if you are uncomfortable, I would soon be done with your dream project and I would make it the best " Carie was happy at his compliance, " Thank you so much,  I would do as you say, I just hope for the hospital to be finished quickly so I would unveil myself to the world as the hidden cardiologist behind all the antidotes to the major heart illnesses and help my grandpa ". Lim smiled seeing her so passionate for her job she has struggled to get to the point she is now although still anonymous to the world for some reasons best known to her, and she kept on working hard despite how rich she is and he promise to make her hospital the best in the world. He took Carie home after their meal because he had some pending work at the office.
