Expensive

Ian woke up and did his usual routine, he came downstairs - expecting to see Ivy but it seemed like she was still sleeping. He discarded his breakfast and summoned the courage to go to her room, she was sleeping and she looked pale probably because she spent hours of crying.

She was used to getting bullied and insulted but she couldn't explain why it was hurt whenever he told her words like that.

He stared at her with his hands in his pockets, he had the urge to stroke her hair but he didn't want to, he was slowly developing a soft spot for her but that couldn't be possible they just got married two days ago.

He observed how beautiful she was even with her eyelids closed and his eyes trailed to her lips, an image of him kissing her came into his head but he waved it off. He decided to go outside because looking at her was giving him thoughts he didn't want.

Ivy woke up with a headache the maids had already cleaned up the broken vases and she didn't want Amelia to find out about what happened so she went to her studio to paint out her pain.

"Hi babe," Tania greeted, sitting on the couch. Ian was standing close to the window and he was staring through the glass, the slap Ivy gave him was unforgettable and he felt guilty for getting mad at her.

Niel didn't ask him about what happened after he left, he didn't even say a word to him all day. Tania noticed his mood, so she stood up and hugged him.

"We should go home,you don't look good today,"

" We? "

"Yes we, I called someone she said she isn't home,"

" Wait.. what? " Ian asked, pulling from her.

If Ivy wasn't home it meant two things; she ran away from her life or she went to stay with Bea. When Tania said those words he felt dejected if Ivy was scared of him it definitely meant that he was pathetic.

He quickly took his coat from the coat hanger and his keys from the table, he bolted out of the office and ran to the parking lot with Tania chasing after him. They got into the car and he drove at the highest speed,Tania closed her eyes and asked for forgiveness from the heavens just incase she dies there. Ian's change it of character was really confusing

Ivy came downstairs to take a bath after finishing up with her painting,she wore a pair of denim jeans and a pink knit sweater but after dressing up she felt like she wasn't complete, her hair was wet and she still hadn't dealt with the issue of her missing hair dryer.

She snuck into Ian's room to borrow his, she searched the drawers and she successfully found it but when she was about to make use of it she heard Ian's voice and his footsteps coupled with the sound of heels. He wasn't supposed to be back at noon, was he?

She began to panic, he couldn't find her in the room she wasn't ready for his madness again,his voice was getting closer and the only available option was to hide under the bed. She desperately wanted to use the bathroom but nature would have to wait first.

Ian walked in and Tania followed, locking the door behind her.

"Babe, calm down...a maid said she's been in her room all day," Tania said, hanging her hands around his neck.

"I wasn't bothered -"

She kissed him passionately and he had no choice but to succumb to her gesture,he pulled from her.

"Let's stop, we can't do anything here.. she's still here, remember?"

" It won't take long,I promise.. don't you miss me?"she asked and he didn't know what to say. She kissed him again and in a few minutes both beings were on the bed enjoying their bodies.

Meanwhile, Ivy could no longer hold it in,she pressed her lips tightly and tried to not make a sound. She had heard him conversing with a lady but she couldn't understand what they were talking about until she heard Tania's moans.

She felt a little bit annoyed and probably jealous,Ian was sleeping with a lady on their matrimonial bed with her under it but she talked to Niel and he called her a cheap sl××, now he was explaining the word expensive to her. Perfectly. This was probably his way of getting back at her but why would he care about taking revenge?

She could hear the restroom chanting her name, and she felt like her bladder would burst but she couldn't die because of them,she rolled from under the bed and sprang up. The moment Tania spotted her she yelled and Ian was totally amazed, she waved at them and gestured them to continue before shutting the door and running to answer the ultimate call.

Ian left Tania on the bed and quickly dressed up.

"Are you leaving me for her?"

"Just shut up!! I warned you about this but you never listen. If mom gets to know about this then we're over," he threatened before leaving the room. He halted and opened the door again and a small smile curled on her lips. "Are you waiting for a special invitation to tell you to get out?" He hissed and shut the door loudly behind him.

Tania was a little bit confused, she guessed that the girl was Ian's bride..but she didn't act like a married woman who caught her husband cheating on her. Tania assumed that Ivy didn't love him and she quickly drafted a brand new plan.

She wore her clothes and came downstairs to look for Ivy.

Bea apologized to Anika and what she said the previous night and Anika forgave her . Jacob summoned the courage to confront Bea in her bedroom,when he got there he saw her sightseeing at the balcony.

"Aunt I'm deeply sorry about last night," Jacob apologized, whilst standing close to Bea.

"It's okay, Jacob, I didn't mean anything I said.. you're really handsome,"

" I don't think Ian's marriage won't work and I'm sorry for judging his wife based on her flaw,"

"It's okay, I can't go out to see them because I'm getting ready for my trip with your mom, please drop by if you aren't busy,"

"I'd love to... I was thinking of visiting Niel at his office today maybe I'll pay Ian a visit,"

" I'm really worried, Ivy hasn't texted since the wedding and I hope he hasn't done anything horrible to her,"

"It's his wife , I'm sure Ian still has a little compassion left in his heart,"
