"I'm sorry for asking,"

"It's okay, Ian told me what happened with Tania... did he apologize?"

" He did.. maybe. I don't want to talk about him, we should just watch the lake, " she typed, yawning and keeping her phone on her lap.

" Yes, we should do that, "he replied tapping her head.

Ivy was trying to defeat sleep, she was waiting to see the scene of the swans expressing their love so she didn't want it to end yet but the power of rest was too strong for her and she nodded off on Niel's shoulder.

Niel's heart fluttered rapidly and his ears turned red and he was struggling to tame his beast. He felt that way only when Ivy touched him and the peaceful look on her alluring face was driving him nuts, he didn't want to wake her up so he carried her on his back and held the groceries at the back of his hand.

Her soft breaths felt like music in his ears and it empowered him to take her home, he brought her inside and kept her on her bed before leaving for his room. Ian was fast asleep when he checked up on him, he laughed at Ian's sleeping pose before heading to his room.

The following day - day two of the weekend. Ian and Niel came downstairs to see Ivy and Jacob laughing whilst taking cups of creamy hot coffee, Jacob had convinced her to try it out and he voluntarily made a cup of latte for her.

Niel went to the dining table but Ian stopped when he noticed that Ivy's night dress was a little bit revealing. He walked up to them with his hands in his pockets.

"Good day, Jacob" he greeted and the smiles on their faces faded

"Hi,Ian,"

"Thank you, breakfast is served... remember?"

" Yes, Ivy -"

"What's wrong if you just go on your own? " Ian asked, holding Ivy's wrist and restraining her from leaving. Jacob left his cup of coffee and Ian took Ivy's, he kept it on a table close by and dragged her inside her room. Ivy was ready for anything horrible thing he wanted to say, she forcefully took her wrist out of his grip in annoyance.

He took a quick scan of her and went to her closet, his grey eyes looked at each piece of clothing and then at her.

"Why are you wearing that?" He asked and she looked at him with a raised brow, before picking up her phone from her desk.

"What do you mean?"

"Ivy,there are two guys in the house...two guys that aren't me and -"

"You said we aren't actually married and that I should bring up a fake pregnancy so that you could end up with Tania,so why do -"

" I never meant any of that s×××,I was umm... drunk, yes, drunk, "

"You looked fine to me and I'm comfortable with what I'm wearing, it's my body.. not yours,"

" Fine, you wanna know what would happen if I wasn't here and he loses control, "he said, walking up to her and she moved a few steps backwards.

He held her hands and pinned her to wall before planting a kiss on her neck, she tried her possible best to hold back the moan in her mouth but she couldn't. His fingers trailed underneath her dress and he held her thigh, leaving her with a flushed face. Ian noticed he was slowly losing his mind so he let her go before letting her cool down. He felt different with her unlike other girls, he had the urge to kiss her until she couldn't breathe but he still needed to keep cool. She kept trying to catch her breath and calm down her body for being responsive to his moves.

"Now,do you understand what I'm talking about?" He asked with a strict tone.

" Don't do that again, " she warned but inside of yelling he embraced her and inhaled her sweet creamy scent before he stroked her hair, softly.

"I'm sorry, for what I said...the conditions I have regarding Tania and for not showing up early at the hospital. Yesterday, I did a lot of thinking and I've only been a jerk. I'm sorry, okay?" He apologized and she could sense and hear the clean sincerity in his voice, but what if his apology was because he wanted her to change her clothes or something else? A teardrop pricked out of her eye and she sniffled but she couldn't hold back her tears, he pulled from her and cleaned them with his palm.

"Don't be such a crybaby," he muttered, laughing and she frowned before asking him to leave. He raised his hands to surrender before making way to the door, he halted and turned to look at her.

"You should change that or do you want me to change it for you?"he teased and she pushed him outside.

Ian whistled to the dining room and sat on his usual chair, Niel and Jacob were expecting him to say something regarding the car incident but the individual was grinning from ear to ear. They looked at him with confusion drawn on their faces before returning back to the process of eating.

" I saw Evie, yesterday, "Niel spoke.

"What did she say to you? " Ian inquired, he was disgusted by hearing her name.

" I just left, even if she wanted me back -"

"Ryan was arrested last month, for drug dealing. She's probably around here because she's hiding in one of his houses, don't get involved with her Niel, she could get you into a lot of trouble, "

" Wow, you knew about this and you didn't tell me, Ian, "

"Why would I bring up a topic about your ex's boyfriend? Just stay away from that chic, she's rotten inside and out, "

" Guys can we talk about other issues, not relating to someone's ex? "

"Yes, Jacob...since you have never gotten into a relationship before, " Niel joked and both men burst into laughter.
