This chapter is dedicated to @reybety and @coaste. Thank you so much for the power stones ^^
Ivy stood up to stretch her back, her phone battery was almost dead because of the countless games and puzzles she was solving - to keep her busy.
She concluded that Ian would still be in the living room and planned on leaving after a few more minutes. Her eyes were fixed on the multiple lamps that surrounded the court, atleast they'll help her spot danger in case it comes in form of the man she married.
A gasp fled from her lips when her body collided with a male's torso, her heart skipped a beat when she realized that the person whose arms she was currently in was none other than her husband. Ivy's several attempts to pull out from him failed because he tightened his grip.
"Please listen to me,"he spoke and she froze." That night you woke up next to me, I... we didn't have s××, don't you remember anything?" He questioned and she raised her head to look at him, probably hoping that she had the power to extract the truth from the look in his grey eyes.
There wasn't any valid reason to trust him, the only thing good he helped her with was to save her from almost getting abused and that was all, aside that... why did he add 'please' to his first speech? Was he that desperate to talk to her? She was still sceptical about his statement, but she shook her head in disapproval which meant that she didn't remember anything. Ian sighed before he continued.
"You played a game of truth or dare with Jacob and he supposedly asked you to drink alcohol..this is my assumption but you snuck into my room which explains why you woke up with me. Did you find any hickey or did you feel sore-" He paused when she covered up his mouth with her palm.
She didn't want him to explain that deep, indeed, he didn't sleep with her as she imagined because she didn't feel like she was tampered with. Reflections of how crazy her actions were monopolized her mind, she foolishly ran away from him which led to the deprivation of some certain benefits like her midnight movies and snacks plus many other things she could do freely in the living room.
Ian finally let her go after he was convinced that he had cleared up the confusion in her head, hugging her was the only way to get her to listen and it proved its worth.
Ivy brought out her phone to converse with its assistance but it had already gone to the afterlife. Ian slipped his hands into his pockets and brought out his to give her, when he opened up the application she made use of, shock electrocuted her with full force. He actually downloaded the app.. for her or was he planning on donating his vocal cords or something?
"Just say what you want to say, or can I help you?" He offered but she was still too dumfounded to say anything. "Okay, Mr. Ian.. you're the most decent man I've ever met and I'm so lucky that I married you," he spat out and gradually pressed his sexy thin lips together in embarrassment whilst she laughed. With the help of his phone she gave him the opposite of his words as her reply.
"I think that luck is bad luck, Mr. Kim,"
A frown slowly sketched on his face and he took his phone from her.
"I think our meeting is done, Mrs. Kim.. I'll see you tomorrow," he assured, turning to leave but he rewinded back and smirked." You should cool down, " he added before leaving while whistling.
Ivy covered her face immediately, it was already as red as a ripe strawberry, it was body's way of expressing its excitement when he called her 'Mrs. Kim'. She covered her face and accelerated into the house.
......
Ivy jerked out of bed with full speed the moment the wondrous scent of something cooking filled the air, she followed the scent like a dog and drooled over the magnificent feast Jacob was placing on the table.
"Good morning, princess," he greeted with a sly smile. He ushered her to the dining table where Niel sat on with a hint of jealousy on his face." Bon appetit, " Jacob said finally and gave room for Ivy to try out the breakfast he made for her and the other guys.
Ivy devoured on every spoon like it was her last and forgot about table etiquettes, Jacob turned to look at Niel with a smile clothed with victory, Niel smirked and used his spoon to transport a piece of a bacon to Ivy's plate since he was sitting close to her.
"I think that belongs to you, Niel," Ian said, fastening his cuff links and sitting on his allocated seat. Jacob giggled and Niel glared at him before taking it back.
"This looks good by the way.. Lucinda did a good job," Ian complimented after observing how Ivy was enjoying the meal.
"Nah...all credits goes to chef Jacob," Jacob bragged, filling his mouth with his own creation. Ian coughed like he had a problem with his respiratory system and Ivy gave him her attention but he drank water and returned back to his previous condition.
Niel chuckled and Ian ate a spoon before spitting it out and a few maids ran to clean up the mess.
"Gawd! Jacob, what did you put in this?"
"Err, adequate ingredients, time, dedication and love,"he explained, calmly even if it was obvious that he was losing his patience.
Ian scoffed and looked at Ivy again who was eating it like it was perfectly fine, the food was flawless but as long as Ivy found pleasure in eating a product of Jacob, his mouth couldn't contain it.
"I think I'll order something on my way to work, see you later Niel, after you finish consuming Jacob's poison,"
" Hey! " Jacob replied with an unsatisfied looked and Ivy quietly drank a glass of water.
Ian left and Niel stayed back.
" He's just jealous, poor guy can't even boil a glass of water for himself, " Niel added and Ivy laughed.

Ian walked into his office with his attention on his phone, Ivy's thumbprints were on it since he was still trying to calculate if he should or shouldn't switch it on or not. Her scent was still on it and he cherished his device like an autograph from his favorite celebrity. With one attempt, the door behind him was shut and he was entirely bewildered when he saw a blonde haired woman, sitting patiently on the black couch while reading a magazine.
"Evie?"
