Chapter 18: The Injury

Kanjiro looked afraid and scared when he looked at Tozuki.
A Month Later In The *Mangrove District*:
Doctor: These injuries...are unable to be fixed at this point in time
Tozuki: I-I see...so I'm going to be stuck in this wheelchair for the rest of my life
Tozuki sat in a black wheelchair, his left arm was gone, he was missing his left leg and his right leg was completely shattered.
Kanjiro: W-What about The Legendary Healer? Can't she do something?!
Doctor: The Legendary healer is on a trip and won't be back for another year, by that time your injuries will not be able to be healed. I could try to make a call but I don't know if she'd listen.
Tozuki: Do you have a direct line to The Legendary Healer?
Doctor: Y-Yes, but I-
Tozuki: Pass me the phone.
Doctor: *sigh* Fine, but only because you did a great deal of help to stop the monster invasion.
The Doctor walked over to the wall and opened a vault, picking up a black orb, handing it to Tozuki.
Doctor: Put your Maho into the orb, a link will be connected to The Legendary Healer, good luck.
Tozuki closed his eyes, he was greatly weakened and lost over half of his Maho amount, the link was formed and a woman with black hair and green eyes appeared on the ball.
The Legendary Healer: Doctor Mario? Is that you?
Tozuki: No, I'm not the doctor, I-
The Legendary Healer: Let me guess, you're someone with a missing limb or two and want me to waste my valuable time and energy to heal you, right?
Tozuki: Basically yes but I need-
The Legendary Healer: You need it to work your 9 - 5 and provide for your family? You're wasting my time, give me one good reason why I should heal you?
Tozuki: Well I need to be healed because I am a great asset to the nation.
The Legendary Healer: Great Asset? Please, I'm healing hunters who are above even blue level, so-
Tozuki: 2 Months.
The Legendary Healer: What? Don't talk over me-
Tozuki: Find the strongest warrior you can in 2 months and come to the Hero's Coliseum in the *Star District*
The Legendary Healer: Now why would I do that? You arrogant child!
Tozuki: If I win you heal me, if you win I'll pay you 300,000$ and become your slave.
The Legendary Healer: Fine, I'll send the contract to your living area.
Tozuki: I assume you know how to find the address?
The Legendary Healer: You aren't completely idiotic, yes. Goodbye, my future slave.
Tozuki handed the orb to Doctor Mario and Kanjiro wheeled Tozuki away.
Kanjiro: Do you have any idea of the kind of deal you made? The Legendary Healer has many connections, I heard she even knows some of the strongest Rankers and Hunters.
Tozuki: Don't worry, just take me to the dorms.
Kanjiro: *sigh* Alright, good luck.
*In Tozuki's Dorm*
Tozuki sat on his bed, he used Maho to close he curtains and breathed deeply.
Tozuki: Let's see if this works. Time Zone: 10x
A silver orb surrounded Tozuki, he picked up a pillow and threw it outside of the orb, as it slowly fell to the ground.
Tozuki: Great! Let's see if this works.
Tozuki held his arm out and summoned a red wristband, it had many black checker pattern on it as well. He put it on and sat cross legged, floated in the air and calmed his mind.
*In Tozuki's Head*
Tozuki was completely healed, his leg was fixed and his left arm was back, he was in a large stone room lit by torches on the walls.
Tozuki: So this is mental training, hmmmm who should I summon, maybe Ryotaka-Sensei.
A man with white hair and bloodshot red eyes was summoned, he wore a black T-Shirt and jeans.
Tozuki: So how does this-
Tozuki was punched in the stomach, he coughed up blood and quickly jumped back. Tozuki wiped the blood off his face and began to fight back. He threw a kick to the side of Ryotaka's head, knocking him back, he then punched his shoulder and kneed his chest.
Tozuki: Not bad, I wonder if this is an accurate gauge of sensei's power, I'll raise it a bit.
Ryotaka dropkicked Tozuki into the ground, then shooting multiple beams of Maho. Tozuki deflected the beams, he punched Ryotaka but the punch was blocked with a punch of his own. Ryotaka and Tozuki both barraged each other with punches, damaging each other heavily. Tozuki rushed forward, headbutting Ryotaka into the ceiling. He then charged up and was then engulfed in a golden aura, as his eyes became gold along with his hair.
Tozuki: This doesn't seem to much drain in this place, so I might as well train much harder!
Tozuki punched Ryotaka, as he disappeared into thin air. Tozuki summoned Diavolo, his energy frightened him but he began the fight.
A/N = It's small Diavolo, not the 100 feet tall one.
Diavolo held his arm up, shooting a red beam which scratched Tozuki's cheek, the both of them began to trade blows, Tozuki mainly on the back foot. Tozuki strained his eyes as he left his False Kinetic form, he saw Diavolo's movements slow as he was able to dodge more easily, he dodged a kick and landed a blow on Diavolo's chest, leaving a mark.
Diavolo shot eye beams, which Tozuki dodged with ease, he ran up to Diavolo and landed multiple kicks, Diavolo stumbled back which gave Tozuki an opportunity to do an uppercut which knocked Diavolo onto his back.
Tozuki: Let's try that giant form, maybe that'll be a challenge!
Diavolo grew to 100 feet tall, as the mindscape room grew in size to make sure there was enough space for Diavolo. Diavolo shot multiple eye beams, which Tozuki dodged with ease, but he had no chances to counter attack.
Tozuki: Let's see if I can combine the two...
Tozuki focused, he strained his eyes as much as possible and forced out all his energy, his hair and aura became golden for a split second but it quickly disappeared and Tozuki fell to the ground exhausted.
Tozuki: That was some good exercise, that's enough for today. I wonder what I should call that technique, maybe 'God Eye'. Yeah, that sounds cool.
Tozuki snapped out of his mental space, he took off his wristband and the silver orb around him dissipated, he lay down and went to sleep.
