The Beginning (Part 3)

Eterna heard faint voices talk outside. She then hurried and tried to see who Noxus was with. She then rushed to them after she saw Annika, One of the members that treated her after she first came. Three of them that heard Eterna's steps couldn't react much. Eterna then greeted them.

"Hi! I know you, you, and is that you..." Before she finished her words, Lich sweated much as she worried that Eterna remembered she was the assailant before.

"And you... I don't remember. What you guys do." Eterna answered blatantly. Lich was relieved as she tried to answer Eterna's questions. But, Noxus intervened.

"Ah... I tried to show some spells to Lich. the woman beside you." Noxus raised his hand and covered the mark on his neck. He closed his eyes and chanted a spell.

It turned out true that the mark covered completely. Eterna and Lich just saw in awe. Annika smiled and crossed her hand on her chest as a sign of victory. While they watched Noxus's chanting spell, Lich unconsciously peeked at Annika. She was irritated with Annika's winning gesture. She then walked one step forward.

"How? I will try it" Lich caught others' attention as she tried to copy what Noxus did. Reached her neck and chanted the same spell. She successfully copied the sentence since it was identical. But when she tried to open her hand, Nothing changed there.

"Well, dumb. You need to learn about the origin of the spell first. Ah... and every spell suit a different class." Noxus explained as he showed his ability again. He made a mocking face toward Lich while showing and hiding his mark for almost 2 minutes straight.

"Argh... Okay, the understanding of the spell was acceptable. But are you saying our class is different? We have the same blessing. We are Goude." Lich explained with hot-blooded intonations. She couldn't resist the loss.

(Well, some people I know did it alo- Ahem, back to the story)

In Sula theocracy, they classified a blessing from the gods into 5 types. Goude or body modification blessing, Mala or elemental modification blessing, Hizen or Nature modification blessing, Atma or life modifications blessing, and Eji or unspecified type of blessing. This standard wasn't applied to every country but was limited to Sula. So every place had different interpretations or even different types of classifications.

"You aren't, Actually. Yours was Hizen. Same as Annika's blessing," Noxus shook his head as he put his hand on his hips.

" How? There is no way I could be wrong." Lich insisted as she jittered. She was shaking since she could feel her loss on the way ahead.

"But you were, Poop. You modified the space to make yourself invisible." Annika intervened in the conversations. She hit Lich's back for few times, but there was no response. Noxus then looked at Lich's directions as He saw both Eterna and Lich stand still. Lich that still in denial yet stunned by the possibility of it. On the other hand, Eterna had a flashback that resembled a similar event.

'Ah, the same stuff as the viral fake invisibility cloak in my previous life. I mean, they used greenscreen and tripod there. I was dumb to believe it was a new invention.' A few moments after, Eterna stopped her recollecting phase as a loud voice screamed.

"What? Nah! I didn't believe it was real." It was Lich. She tried to keep her class's dignity as the coldest and smartest.

"It is. You couldn't grab the sword if it was only Gourde. Logically, your sword or clothes wasn't part of your body." Annika continued the explanations While Noxus approached her ears as he whispered something.

"Aha... Loser. 1-0," Lich's face turned into a darker red. She was mad but couldn't answer anything else.

" Anyway, you are the one who wants to replace others with stronger ones. But You were rejecting it." Noxus shrugged his shoulder.

"I reject the notions. I jus-" Lich was confused to tell another excuse as Annika chimed in.

"Prove it. Show your sacrifice for the Goddess. " Annika looked at Lich's eyes.

"Yea... Fine. I will go with them." Lich surrendered as she agreed to join them. Annika suddenly tried to high-five Noxus. Noxus slightly hesitated, but he bore it and received the high-five awkwardly.

"Us? Me and Noxus? Where?" Eterna couldn't think what they were talking about. Annika nodded and smiled but didn't answer any further.

"Now, Three of you gonna change the robes." Annika pointed to their cult's robe.

"No! Mine is already customized. It's a tight fit and comfy for scouting. Just ask him to change." Lich disagreed with Annika. Every robe could be designed based on each role or class. In Lich's case, her robe was shorter than others as she used tight's pants inside to make an easy maneuver. While her pointy hat was also smaller.

"Stop answering me, Lich. You won't go anywhere with that robe. We will get a bag. You store it there later," Annika mad as she walked passed them and walked down the cliff.

"Blabla..." Lich followed her. Noxus and Eterna looked at each other in a confused manner.

"Why are you guys zoning out? Let's go find a weapon and clothes." Annika looked back as she screamed at them.

"Sir, yes, Sir." Noxus and Eterna saluted her and followed her.

"Anyway, Noxus. Why weapon? Why would I need to choose a weapon?" Eterna whispered in Noxus's ears.

"I believe your blessing will be related to offensive type." Noxus decreased his tone.

" What... But, I never go to fig-" Eterna unconsciously talked louder and made her answer audible to others.

"Ah... Nah. th-the knowledge told him so," Lich answered nervously. They looked at Eterna's face. While Annika didn't know what was happening.

"Ummm..."

Lich and Noxus were sweating. They waited for Eterna's answer since it took a long time.

"Okay!" Fortunately, Eterna just agreed with it. She didn't feel any weird vibe was made by Noxus and Lich. Their face was pale, but now they felt relieved.

"But I didn't know the best weapon for m-" Before Eterna finished her word, Noxus answered.

"She will help." He pointed his index finger at Lich. In reaction to that, she looked at their directions.

"Anyway..." Lich tried to join the conversations.

"What?" Noxus answered cynically.

"Not you but Eterna. Didn't you remember yesterday?"

"No, I just woke up here today. It seems that I drunk after talking with Noxus and following him back here," Eterna tried to explain her assumptions as she didn't have any clue what Lich meant.

"Ah... Okay. Just wanna make sure." Lich then turned her face back and saw the step forward.

"Hey... Three of you. Hurry up. I couldn't resist the settling sun," Annika shouted as her pace got faster.

"Okay." Three of them tried to catch up with Annika.
