Mission

I woke up the next day and stretched my body out of comfort.

I got up to the side of the bed and looked out at the window and saw that the streets were bustling with people.

I then said "Even in this early morning the streets are filled huh..."

I then looked up at the grand white and gold building that was in the middle of the kingdom with greed, and malicious intent.

I couldn't do anything now so I decided I would go to the guild hall and accept a mission.

I quickly went the the coat hanger and grabbed my cloak and put it on.

Once I made it to the guild hall I looked around the area and the guild hall was even more filled than the first time.

I ignored this and walked to a board that had missions pinned onto it.

I looked up and started to scan through the missions that was my rank, it took me a while to find one as their weren't many low level missions that initiated combat.

Most of them were to deliver products or pick plants of some kind.

I quickly saw a mission and it said...

I quickly snatched this quest off the quest board and walked towards the front register.

I then placed the quest on the desk by being on the tip of my toes and said..

"I would like to take this mission."

She looked at me for a few seconds and said "Alright, I will put this quest to you're name, you have a limited 3 days to complete this quest before I put it back on the quest board."

I nodded at the response and walked towards the exit of the guild.

After I made I made it outside I then walked towards the gate of the kingdom and made my leave.

Once I did I looked left and right and said "Just where are the wolves at again..." I then decided to just go to the left of the forest and hoped I was lucky.

I then started dashing inside the forest then quickly started to travel from the trees as it was much faster and efficient.

I then made it pretty deep inside the forest when I suddenly heard strange growling noises that sounded like some animal.

I hid on top of a tree and looked down to see what was making that sound, It was a pack of red wolves that were feasting on a corpse of something that had horns.

I smiled and was delighted they had their guard down, there was a total of for wolves in the pack, one less than what the quest needed.

I quickly went to my storage and took out the knife and I felt my strength and speed being boosted a little.

I then looked at the wolves coldy but made sure not to show some form of killing intent, if they did they would have probably noticed me and I would lose the element of surprise.

I then dashed at one of the wolves and slashed at its neck with all my strength.

Then suddenly something unexpected happened, the head came clean off and blood started gushing out like a fountain.

I quickly moved as I didn't want the blood to get on me, I then said in my head "Seems that I was underestimating my strength, I didn't even apply any energy to the attack and was purely my strength yet it cut clean through."

I then got out of my reverie and noticed the three wolves were in front of me hostile while growling.

Then suddenly the one in the middle opened it's mouth, and I could see something forming from out of it's throat, I tried squinting my eyes to see but I failed too.

Suddenly a huge ball of fire came bursting out of it's mouth towards me, this took me out of surprise but I quickly did a side flip to the right to dodge it.

I looked back and saw the attack landed on a near by tree, it left a hole straight through and the tree was quickly burning down without rest.

I tightened my grip on my knife and placed it in front of me with one hand to the side, and I started dashing towards the same wolf that attacked me.

The wolf then started dashing towards me too and we clashed knife to claws.

We both then jumped back mid air and landed on our feet and looked at eachother.

We had similar strength but I had way more intelligence that it, so I decided to play dirty.

I rushed towards the wolf again, and just when we were about to clash, I swung my right leg at it's head with all my strength.

It then flew back into a tree and it died on impact.

The last two wolves were even more hostile at this scene and they decided to attack me at the same time.

One came from my left and the other came to my right, I readied my knife and quickly figured out what I needed to do.

I leaped backwards and let the two wolves attack nothing, I didn't let this chance go by as I went and attacked one of the wolves and slashed at it's gut.

I made a deep cut into it's stomach and it was dying at a quick pace.

I didn't need to worry about that one anymore and focused on the last remaining wolf.

It then opened it's mouth and shot a huge fireball towards me, but instead od dodging like last time, I slashed at it horizontally and it split in to passing me at both sides.

I then rushed at the last wolf leaping in the air and slashing at its four legs, they all came right off with no trouble and the wolf fell over and was dying at an even faster pace than the last.

Once I collected all the wolves teeth. I just needed one more wolf then I would be done.

I then immediately started searching again for a wolf, and too my luck there was one more near an oversized boulder resting in front of it.

I was just about to attack it when I had a thought "What If I throw the knife? Could I still kill it, even if I didn't I would surely injure it a lot."

I then position the knife in front of me and launched it at the wolf with half of my strength and it pierced right through it's head.

The wolf died a silent and cruel death but I didn't care, I leaped off the tree towards the wolf and started pulling it's teeth out.

I figured out yesterday in my spare time that I could put objects that didn't come from the system in my storage so this would be a lot more easier travelling.

I then started heading towards the kingdom and showed the guard my adventurer ID and he quickly let me in.

Before I walked inside the guild hall I took out the teeth out the storage when no one was around and carried them cradled in my hand.

I quickly went inside and made it to the front desk and placed them on the counter.

She looked at me in shock and said "You completed it that fast" I nodded my head without saying anything as I didn't want too talk.

She nodded and took the teeth and handed me money, it was thirteen silver coins and I already knew how much they were worth and I nodded and took them of the counter and walked towards the exit.

I went in a alley way and put them in the system storage and walked out and started heading towards the Inn.

Once I made it inside my room I sat on the bed and wondered what else should I do.

At first I was thinking of just taking quests for the rest of the day but that would get boring quickly and there weren't many quests that made you get into combat at F rank.

So I decided to lay down for a bit and then figure out what to do...
