Chapter 7

Even tho Kioshi didn't care about most of the people around him , he did care about his survival and knowing Binna , his survival chance might become null if she founds out that he caused a ruckus or damaged the household.

He quickly went to his bed and hid under it.

Footsteps could be heard rushing to his location.

Binna , who was already by his door , knocked on it multiple times but she received no response.

Her face tightened and she narrowed her eyes while lifting up her right hand.

Red spirals of mana started to form around her hand which she placed on the door. The result was the door disintegrating into ashes immediately.

Binna shook her right hand and the spirals vanished into the atmosphere with a crackling sound.

"Kioshi , what did you do?"When she entered the room , she didn't see Kioshi anywhere around it. But she didn't fret , in fact , she didn't seemed worried at all since there's more than one way to find someone.

Binna closed her eyes and concentrated on the mana around her. She then forcefully pushed it away from her while infusing her own element within it. It was enough elemental mana to not burn something immediately , just having a rise in heat effect is enough for her.

The room suddenly got hotter and Kioshi who was accustomed to this didn't flinch.

Binna released more mana and the temperature rised again making Kioshi sweat. His breathing started to get louder which allowed Binna to hear him.

'Found you.' Binna thought as she dispelled the mana around the room. She walked over to Kioshi's bed and bent downwards until her knees touched the floor. Her head went lower until she saw strands of white hair sticking out under the bed. She flicked her index finger on top of the surface of the hair which she then heard an audible sound.

"Ouch." Kioshi who was under the bed , couldn't help but exclaim his pain since his body wasn't as strong as Binna's.

He escaped from under the bed and stood up straight while rubbing his head. "What was that f-" Kioshi didn't continue when he glanced at Binna's gaze.

"Why is there a hole in your room?" Binna's tone was laced with irritation.

"It was my elements fault." Kioshi gave a simple answer. How should he have known that his element could have such an effect?

"Your element?" Binna was confused. Elements have certain properties but Kioshi's element wasn't heard of.

"Yes." He didn't feel like explaining it or rather , he didn't bother to.

"Would you explain to me at least what your element is and it's effects?" She continued to question him. She knew that he wouldn't talk easily.

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't know." His element was an unknown element. Anything about it , he has no clue. He would only be able to find out about it when he learns more about it.

"I see. You should control it , from the way I see it , it's dangerous." There was a little hint of concern in her voice.

"I know." Kioshi sat down on his bed and positioned himself to lay on it.

"But your still in trouble." Binna's voice was stern. She pointed towards the hole. "I want you to fix this before tomorrow."

"I will." His eyes began to close slowly.

"I'm being serious." Her voice rose loud enough for her to hear the echo coming from the house.

"....." Kioshi fell asleep. His breathing was quite that Binna had a hard time hearing it.

Binna sighed as she looked at the boy. "What should I do with him?" She shook her head and headed out of Kioshi's room and closed the door slowly.

She went back downstairs and continued to do her remaining chores.

--------------------------

When Kioshi woke up , it was already night time. He didn't feel hungry so he just went downstairs and took a seat in the living room.

He could hear the water pouring down in the bathroom so he guessed that Binna must of been taking a shower.

He decided he would take a bath to after she's finished.

"I guess TV is good." Kioshi said out loud to himself.

Kioshi reached out for the remote on the table in front of him and pressed the power button to switch on the TV.

He changed channels after channels until he saw something that attracted his attention.

"Reporting , reporting from Tianpi District. Tryle has taken care of beasts once again. His rising has been astronomical after he overcame his bottleneck. ...." The report continued until it changed to another scene.

Kioshi , who watched the report , muttered the words to himself. "Bottleneck."

'Will I be able to overcome it?' He thought to himself.
