"You know, I really shouldn't have told you I was going to the library."
I eyed my best friend in irritation. I was convinced she had finally lost her grip on what was appropriate and what wasn't.
"Oh, come on. I don't give you the permission to abandon me right after my girlfriend left." Savannah nudged me in the side as we entered the library. Kate had left back to her home at dawn.
I rolled my eyes. "How do you not have a hangover?"
"Oh, I do. I just don't want to fixate on it."
We sat down on a corner table in the near empty place. Since it was nine in the morning, there were next to no people present here. I always loved coming here in the morning because of the pleasant atmosphere.
