Ariana Mann, a part Vampire, born into a powerful Vampire-Otsukii family, struggles with her power and bloodlust, a side effect of having an alternate personality. As a means to subdue her powers so as not to cause harm to anyone, she willingly lets herself be bullied. Well, not until her Knight in shining armor comes along; or so, she thought. 

Brandon Daniels has never in his life met someone as spineless and weak as Ariana. Her inability to stand up for herself baffles him, but that isn't the only thing about her that does. He isn't sure what draws him to her: her stupidity, timidity or the unknown power she thinks she hides so well. 

She seems hopeless, but giving up on her is out of the question until he finds out why he is so drawn to her. With anger and despair, a dark flame is born within her that only he can tame, but can he save someone who doesn't want to be saved?

Taming The Ruthless Hybrid

"Have you girls seen that new hunk in school?" a girl in the locker room asked as they all changed into their PE uniforms. 


"I hear that he's the perfect guy," Meredith said with a smug look. 


"Yeah. He's so cute. Everyone is already falling for him," Ariana heard another girl say. She tried to drown out their voices hut to no avail. 


Meredith walked up to her and shoved her out of the mirror space. "Why are you in my way, Nerdy?" she snarled. 


Ariana heaved a sigh and moved out of her way Meredith was having none of it. She turned to the other girls in the locker room. "Did you guys hear? Nerdy over here happens to be the first girl our new hunk has been in contact with," she said with a smirk. Most of the girls in the room glared at her. 


Ariana's back hit the wall. Meredith scrunched up the front of her shirt with her fist. "If you know what's good for you, you will stay away from him all together," the girl said.
