A long time later he finally understood, the two intertwined energies were not harmonious. In fact, they never were. The two energies were fighting with one another and it seems the black energy was stronger. The black energy caused the time and space being distorted. When the two energies clashes the black energy is weakened and so time and space becomes balanced for a while. Huno frowned and turned in one direction over there he felt the similar but slightly different aura. It came and went in a flash. Huno ignored one last time and turn his attention to the energies.
'If they are fighting because they are together, why don't I separate them? That won't be easy though,' Huno thought. Breathing heavily, he closed his eyes and placed his hands on the ground. He resonated with the whole place and with that person.
He wanted to take this chance to attack the person, but it seems the other person read his mind and sent him a message.
'I promise I am not an enemy please borrow my strength and continue what you are doing I will explain everything, right now we both want to achieve the same thing stop them from fighting, if they continue in a few years I will collapse and those energies will escape back,'.
Huno wanted to ask questions, but he felt separating the energies was more important. 'You better explain when I am done,' he said, and closed his eyes.
'I hope I don't die,' Huno said and added, 'come,'.
~Nothing happened~
'That won't work. Can't you control the energies?' the person asked. 'I don't know. You said you'll give me your strength. Well, I can't feel it,' Huno said. 'Control those energies first. My strength will help counter those energies. If those energies aren't there, it may counter you,' the person said.
'I see, that's how it is,' Huno said. 'What are you doing?' the person asked. The person noticed the two energies from every direction flowed towards Huno.
The energies flowed into Huno's body and Huno remembered he forgot something.
'Shit, my Qi energy,' Huno said. Quickly he tried to retract the incoming energies but couldn't. It was too strong and too much. Immediately, he controlled all his Qi energy to his core and tried to protect his core. His effort was worthless cause almost immediately Huno felt an immense amount of pain caused by the collision of the two energies. His entire body went numb and at this moment Huno felt death was better than living.
Huno felt something enter his body. At first he felt nothing wrong from it but after some seconds it felt like his body was merging with something or someone. When the merging was complete, Huno felt a force wrap around his core and because of it, the two energies went around it in circles. In the next moment, Huno felt his energy level slowly rise. At first it was slow, but then it rose at a fast speed until it grew to a point and stop growing.
'This power, wow, it's beyond the True realm. What level is this?' Huno asked.
At this moment he felt a whole new kind of power level in his body and in front of this level his True realm strength was like an ant.
Huno felt like he was looking at his own strength from the top of a mountain, staring straight down into the bottom of the ocean. And he felt everything below was as insignificant as an ant. 'What the hell are you doing? Control those energies, stop wasting precious time. Do you want to die?' the voice of that person echoed in his ear. Returning to his senses, Huno raised both his hands up and face his palms forward. The energies flowing from all directions towards him gathered in front of him.
'Good, gather it up in one place and then separate the two from each other,' the voice said. 'Someone is bossy, since you can talk, start explaining,' Huno said. 'No concentrate, how memories will soon begin merging. Make sure you don't lose control of the energies when it does,' the voice said. 'Why will our memories merge? Who the hell are you?' Huno asked, but the voice didn't reply. Huno kept controlling the energies and was about to ask again when everything around him turned black.
He could feel that he was still in place and the energies were gathering in front of him, but his vision became dark. He remembered what the voice told him, so instead of worrying, he concentrated on the energies.
He heard some sounds, he couldn't understand the sounds. With time, the sound became clearer. It was as if someone was talking, but he couldn't make out what the person was saying. It felt like a long time passed and the voice that kept talking became clearer.
'Let me out, let me out!' the voice screamed. 'I trusted you, I trusted you, let me out of here. Why are you doing this? You know I don't deserve this? I did nothing to deserve this, so let me out,' the voice yelled.
'Luna,' Huno said softly as he recognized the owner of the voice. She kept yelling for her to be let out and this lasted for a long time. 'Let me out. You promised you said you want to stop it, so why lock me up?' Luna asked. 'Why? Why won't you let me out?' she yelled angrily.
This continued for a long time and while it did, Huno felt like he was opening his eyes. There was a bright light. His vision was quite blurry and obstructed. And he was confused by what was going on.
He preferred the dark, so he closed his eyes while Luna kept yelling continuously.
Unknown amount of time passed, this time was extremely long. During this time, Huno realized he was constantly drawing Luna's strength, absorbing part of it and locking the rest up in his body. He also realized the dark place was his body, and it used to lock someone up. Why was he absorbing her strength and energy? Why did he lock her up? He didn't know. It was just something he did out of instinct and it felt right. He just knew his purpose was to lock her and drain away her strength. Huno heard footsteps and opened his eyes. The place was dark and he couldn't see anything, even with his eyes opened. He was confused. Where was that light from before?
'You came back,' Luna said happily. 'Are you here to let me out? See, my powers have become extremely low. It won't go out of control again,' she added. Whoever she was talking to didn't reply and walked away. 'Hey come back, please come back let me out, let me out,' Luna pleaded continuously. Her plead fell on deaf ears as the sound of footsteps became distant. She kept pleading non-stop, hoping the other party will be soft-hearted and open up.
The time went by and Huno couldn't tell how long it had been and he didn't know what the word time meant.
The sound of footsteps came again and Luna, who was still pleading, became excited. 'You came let me out, right? See, my power is extremely weak now, you don't put this power in your eyes right, you can crush it in an instant without even raising a finger,' Luna said. The owner of the footsteps didn't reply and walked away. 'Hey come back, please come back, let me out, please,' Luna plead.
While she kept begging to be let out, Huno kept absorbing her power and not evening understanding why she was locked up. For the first time, this question got him thinking, but soon he gave up on it. There was no need pondering on what he couldn't understand.
The footsteps came two more times and, like before, it just left not saying a word. It seems the owner of those footsteps was coming over to check on her.
Now, Luna's plead had gone from 'let me out,' to, 'please don't leave, don't leave me,'. But like before, it fell on deaf ears, not moving the person.
Time went by and after an enormous amount of time that seemed to be longer than all the previous ones, the footsteps came again and this time Luna kept saying quietly, 'please don't leave,'.
For the first time Huno heard a voice other than Luna's saying, 'abomination, long time no see, there was an ongoing war between the various races, I needed to be there or else the entire human race would have been wiped out, so I didn't have the time to come check on you,'.
'Abo-mina-tion? Don't call me that, I'm not that,' Luna yelled. 'Oh, then what are you? Your very existence is darkness and destruction. What are you if not an abomination?' the voice replied. 'I'm not that,' Luna yelled.
'Whatever, I'm happy to know that even after so long you can't break free and it seems even if you want to you can't your strength as diminished far more than I expected, you are worse than an ant haha,' the voice said and laughed.
'If I'm worse than an ant, then why not release me? What will a single ant do to you?' Luna asked.
The voice ignored her as if she had said nothing and said, 'well the war has ended, luckily humans won and now we have more territories. haha my effort as the strongest human race wasn't in vain, anyway those equivalent to Heavenly Immortal realm in all races has made an agreement, each of us are not allowed to join future conflict within the races and the race are not allowed to clash until after ten thousand years, it's going to be so peaceful for a while and since there's no problem with you I don't have to come here again and enjoy a relax life, I might as well create a sanctuary of my own, what do you think?' the voice said.
'You won't come back here again?' Luna asked. 'Why do I have to? What will I gain from coming to see an abomination? Well, I'm done here. I'm going to enjoy myself,' the voice said.
'Please don't leave, don't leave, don't leave me, please I beg you, don't do this to me, I promise I'll won't cause any problem so please,' Luna pleaded, but there was no reply. The voice was gone, not putting her in its eyes.
