Chapter 76: Familial Relationships

During lunch, Sourei kept on asking Angelie to eat the dishes she prepared. There was some fried chicken, deep-fried pork cutlets and some deep-fried, battered shrimp. Sourei also cooked some pickled vegetable side dishes and miso soup with tofu. Angelie was seated in front of Sourei while Akuma was seated in front of Yuurei.

"Now, I kind of wish that there was a guest at least every weekend. We get to eat a nice, extravagant meal instead of eating bread!"

Akuma was chowing down the food in front of him.

"Hey, Akuma! You make it sound like I only feed you bread."

Sourei glared at her son.

"Well, it's somewhat true. I don't remember the last time we had fried foods for lunch! And there are side dishes and miso soup! Why don't we have these more often?"

Akuma kept on stuffing his mouth as he stared at his mother.

"Then, I guess we should have Angelie-san come over here more often, so that you can eat foods like these more frequently."

Sourei smirked at Akuma.
