Chapter 136: Steadfast Stance

Akuma fell to one knee on the floor. Kiba and Sanaka almost got up from their spot, but controlled themselves to stay in place. Kenji turned his back on Akuma and then removed his protective headgear.

"Hey, where are you going? We're not done here."

Akuma had one eye closed as he stared at Kenji's back.

"What are you talking about? I already won the match."

Kenji peeked behind him to look at Akuma.

"So, the Kendo Club Captain is afraid to continue? What, are you worried that a nobody like me will get a hit on you?"

Akuma smirked as he slowly got up and shakingly went to his stance.

"Even though I already won, it seems that it still hasn't gone through your thick head. Oh well, a few more beatings will surely do it."

Kenji wore his headgear again and faced toward Akuma while he resumed his stance as well.

"B-but Captain…! The match is already over—"

The referee furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to stop Kenji. But the Kendo club captain cut him off instantly.
