Chapter 161: Mission Possible

The later half of the second day of the Cultural Festival passed by quickly. As the classes started to serve their last guests and close business, the festival committee prepared and assembled the large bonfire in the center of the outdoor sports field.

According to Seihou's tradition, there would always be a bonfire dance after the conclusion of their Cultural Festival. With regards to that tradition, there came to be an accompanying superstition. It was believed that whoever danced first around the bonfire would be destined to be together forever.

And so, there later became a voting system that determined this lucky couple. But this process was only known to those who were aware of it. It was never announced publicly during assemblies. It was more of an underground, handed down tradition. The progenitors of it believed it wasn't a popularity contest, but instead something to be given to those who deserved it.
