Chapter 201: Indirect Confession

Due to Kiba's mixed anxiety and excitement, he arrived a little earlier than their agreed upon time. He sat inside the cafe as his feet continued to tap the floor nonstop. He chose a booth seating near the glass windows. Kiba then placed the gift he had for Mimi beside him and stared at it for a while.

A waitress approached him after some time and asked if he wanted anything, but he replied that he was waiting for someone. The waitress smiled and then informed him to call her if he was ready to order something. She then left as Kiba watched her.

"Ugh. My legs won't stop shaking! Damn it!"

Kiba then hit his legs with his closed fists repeatedly. After a while, he noticed a shadow casting over the table in front of him. He turned his head toward the glass window. Mimi stood outside as she squinted at Kiba.

"What are you doing…?"

Mimi mouthed these words which Kiba understood.

"Um, it's nothing! I'm not nervous or anything—"
