Chapter 230: Unexpected Reunion

The dance continued, with music that still roared and the students followed its groove. As the hall was filled with people who enjoyed themselves, there were some who went outside of the building.

One such student was Kenji. He cautiously opened the door of the hall and walked outside while he looked beside him at both directions. He exited the building through the lobby and turned his head frantically. When he saw a silhouette in the shadows beside the building, he decided to follow it.

Once Kenji and the shadowy figure he followed were hidden enough from other people's view, they decided to talk. The person Kenji followed was hidden in the shadows, so he couldn't clearly see that person's face. But once that person spoke, he was sure that it was the person he intended to speak to.

"I'm glad that you noticed my signal."

The person was a girl. She spoke in a playful tone.
