Jian's struggle

Jian walked towards Kaiser. The latter was still shaking with slight black lightning here and there.

The soldiers were looking at Jian in utter disbelief. He killed the dragon.

Kaiser was still covered in the flame-like black smoke around him. The pressure was still as same as before. Jian looked at Kaiser and tried to move near him but he stopped after seeing the raging black flames with his pitch-black. He was smiling like a sinister devil and he was not even aware of it. With his pitch-black eyes with that sinister smile on his face, he looked like a complete devil hailed from the depth of the abyss.

Kaiser's body slowly stopped shaking and the smile disappeared from his face. The flames and the black lightning also vanished like they didn't exist. The thick bloodlust from before also faded away.

Jian, however, remained motionless without any hint of emotion on his face. He slowly walked near Kaiser who was unconscious. But when he was about to check Kaiser, he felt the presence of unknown various members.

Then he turned back to see two more dragons coming straight at him out of nowhere. Just when did they come here? As soon as they arrived they charged Jian and breathed streams of fire.

Jian had no time to check up on Kaiser and then he brandished his sword and swiftly slashed the air toward the dragons.

The dragons avoided it. The huge ball of fire simply was struck by them which Jian parried with ease. They couldn't believe, how was it capable for him to counter and kick their attack.

But it didn't last long as they flew at him hurriedly, intending to slash him into pieces as they were enraged.

A few minutes before, just when Kaiser caused the ruckus. In the mid-air above the palace hall, Mary and Carl were having a fierce battle. The atmosphere was totally ruptured and distorted.

All of sudden, Mary saw Kaiser shouting through his lungs. She became worried for him after seeing him in that state. While fighting with Carl she took a few glances at the situation below.

"It is not the time for you to be distracted, Empress!"

Carl blurted out seeing Mary was not paying attention to him.

That's when Kaiser's phenomenal change started, then both of them stopped fighting and looked below as they sensed something.

Carl and Mary both of them noticed Kaiser raising in the air and hovering mid-air. They could sense the power released by Kaiser. As they were experts of their race, they could feel the abrupt rise in the energy level of Kaiser. And most importantly both of them have seen Blodig's power which was now similar to what Kaiser's changes indicated.

Mary was startled to see Kaiser emitting such strong pressure. She squint her eyes looking at Kaiser, she could see the black halo around the body of Kaiser.

"This…" She was perplexed.

As she was staring at him and pondered. Carl was also looking at him. " This human kid, Why do I feel familiar?."

He then turned to Mary and said, "Who is that boy?."

"Not that it matters anyway, you will all be killed today regardless." He scoffed.

While Carl talked, Jian killed one of the dragons. This made Carl startled.

"Hmm!" Carl snorted.

Mary also saw this and glanced at Kaiser. She looked at Kaiser with a bewildered expression. What happened to him? She remembered the time when he was found by her. At the time, he had the same type of aura around him but right now it was even stronger than the last time. How was he able to exert such abominable power to this extent?

Jian shot toward one of the dragons. He flew in an instant, making them unnoticed by his presence.

Carl and Mary stopped fighting as they were engrossed in the battle on the ground.

Jian, after jumping at the dragon, appeared below its belly and caught its tail. Then dragged it to the ground by slamming it on the floor. The dragon which was held by Jian, felt like it was caught by something harder and it weighed it down.

BOOM

The place where they landed became cracked and the ground crumbled, making the hall's wall tremble.

The dragon was hit hard by the impact. It was so shocking for them to see Jian was able to pull a dragon down with his strength. Just how strong was he to do that so simply?

Jian stared at the dragon on the ground. He raised his hand in which he held the sword. Then thrust towards the abdomen of the dragon and a hole appeared.

Jian's breathing has become haggard and was starting to signs of exhaustion.

Another dragon was just glaring at Jian and didn't expect him to throw another slash toward it so abruptly. With all its might it deflected the slash. The dragon was unable to completely evade it though. the slash contained no mana within it and it had a strange sharp force which aimed at the dragon which made it difficult for it evade.
