New Mission: Escorting Daimyo

As the sun slowly sank below the horizon, it painted the sky with a myriad of warm hues—red, orange, and yellow—blending into a breathtaking canvas. Along the riverbed, a young boy and girl walked, admiring the beautiful sunset. "It's so beautiful," the girl said, her eyes fixed on the sky. "I haven't seen the beauty of a sunset for a long time."

The boy nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's amazing. It's like the sky is on fire."

They continued walking in silence, with only the soft rustling of leaves and the gentle lapping of water against the shore breaking the quiet. As they walked, the colors in the sky intensified, the reds deepening, and the oranges turning to shades of pink and purple.

"It's like the whole world is at peace," the girl whispered, her voice barely audible.

The boy looked at her, seeing the awe and wonder in her eyes. Despite knowing her for years, he had never seen her like this before. "It's a reminder that beauty can be found in even the darkest of moments," he said, his voice quiet.

The girl turned to him, a small smile on her lips. "Yeah, I guess it is."

They stood there for a few more moments, watching as the sun disappeared below the horizon, leaving behind a sky filled with stars.

As darkness fell and stars twinkled in the black sky, Hirata turned to Tsunade and said, "Should we go now? We don't want to be late for the party." Tsunade agreed with a nod, and they began to walk, with Hirata following closely behind.

Upon our arrival at the restaurant around seven, we realized that everyone was already present. It appeared that we were running late. As we entered the room, someone playfully yelled, "The Senju couple is here!" Amidst the laughter and teasing shouts directed at us, we felt embarrassed at first. However, as time passed, this became a regular occurrence, and we became more accustomed to it.

While I went to join my friends, she headed towards her female friends. There wasn't any particular occasion to celebrate, as we would often gather together naturally from time to time. We were a group of around ten to fifteen people who would regularly meet up, of course, when we were not on a mission.

I was asked by someone, "Hirata, are you going on a mission tomorrow?" I casually replied, "Yes, it's going to be a long one." Another person tried to be clingy, saying, "So, I'm going to miss you, Hirata," but he was stopped just as he was about to hold me. His forehead was sweating, and the room fell silent as everyone looked towards Tsunade.

A dark aura emanated from her, sending chills down everyone's spine. The man slowly turned his head towards Tsunade, fears etched on his face, and asked, "Will you believe me if I tell you I was just joking?" Tsunade's face broke into a smile, and the dark aura around her was replaced with a floral one. While her face smiled, her eyes remained cold and menacing as she replied, "That's good. If it wasn't a joke, I would have killed you here." After a few seconds of silence, everyone erupted into laughter as though they had expected the scene, and the only person who felt relieved was the one who had made the joke.

The next morning, I stood in front of the Hokage's office, waiting for his permission to enter. In no time, I received his permission and opened the door to find the same old plain office room filled with a mountain of papers, with the secretary assisting him. Furthermore, a young man was sitting on the couch, sipping on tea reserved for guests - I could tell from the aroma that it was high-quality tea designated only for special visitors.

After a minute, the Hokage left his desk and sat on the couch, and the secretary delivered the tea with the same fragrance to the Hokage and left the office. After sipping the tea, the Hokage looked at me and said, "Your current mission is terminated, and sending you on another mission. Your team will arrive soon, so wait until then." I am surprised to hear my mission is terminated, and as I expected, it's related to this man, who is sipping with the Hokage.

As the door opened, I turned my gaze towards it and noticed a figure entering. To my surprise, it was Toshiro Satoshi who had walked in.

Toshiro Satoshi is a legendary figure in the world of shinobi. He quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the most respected and revered figures of the first shinobi war. His bravery and heroism on the battlefield earned him a reputation as a skilled and fearless warrior, and his calm and collected demeanor under pressure made him a role model for many new-generation shinobi.

During the first shinobi war, he led many successful missions, was responsible for numerous key victories, and was assigned to a special unit tasked with carrying out covert operations behind enemy lines.

In conclusion, Toshiro Satoshi was a true hero of the shinobi world, much like Sakumo Hatake in Naruto, and he will always be remembered as one of the greatest heroes of the shinobi world. Even today, he is a shining example of what it means to be a true hero, and his story serves as an inspiration to all who strive to follow in his footsteps.

Standing beside me, he executed a salute directed towards the Hokage. The sheer excitement welled up within me as I beheld the presence of a person whom I deeply respect and idolize now standing by my side. I have already concluded that the world I am in now is distinct from the original Naruto universe that I am familiar with. This may be an alternate parallel world, or perhaps a world within a multiverse, assuming such a concept exists.

The visitor's gaze shifted towards Toshiro Satoshi, and upon seeing him, his face lit up. He then turned to the Hokage and nodded in acknowledgment. The Hokage, taking a sip from his teacup and placing it back on the saucer, addressed Toshiro Satoshi, "Toshiro, this is Hirata, your team member, and the others will be joining soon."

Upon hearing my name, Toshiro Satoshi directed his gaze towards me, a smile forming on his face. In response, I reciprocated with a smile of my own.

After a brief moment, the door swung open, and one by one, four individuals stepped inside. Tsunade Senju, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Michiko Inazuka stood beside us, respectfully saluting the Hokage. The arrangement before me is astounding. We, the most accomplished chunin of our generation, along with Toshiro Satoshi, the most esteemed jonin in all of Konoha, are being joined by a VVIP guest. It appears that this mission is of significant importance, possibly at least S-rank.

The Hokage's gaze shifted towards us as he spoke, "Allow me to introduce you to the new daimyo of the Land of Valleys, Imagawa Yoshimoto. The mission has been classified as an S-rank mission, spanning one year. Your primary duty is to escort and safeguard the daimyo to the Land of Valleys. Throughout this duration, you will serve as their protectors and offer essential assistance. In the event of a war, report back to the village. You have half a day to assemble at the main gate. That is all."

The Land of Mountains and the Land of Valleys, two small countries situated next to each other, have been embroiled in a long-standing conflict spanning several generations. The two countries have been at war for as long as anyone can remember, with each side blaming the other for the violence and destruction that has befallen both nations.

In recent years, the conflict has escalated as both countries have started to resort to more extreme measures in their pursuit of victory. The Land of Mountains, with its strategic location and natural resources, has gained the upper hand in many battles, but the Land of Valleys remains resilient and determined to defend its homeland at any cost.

As the conflict drags on, both countries have sought alliances with the larger and more powerful nations in the Naruto world. The Land of Mountains has allied with the Hidden Rock Village, while the Land of Valleys has aligned itself with the Hidden Leaf Village. Tensions continue to mount between the two countries, with each side accusing the other of aggression and sabotage.

Despite attempts at peace talks and negotiations, it seems that the war between the Land of Mountains and the Land of Valleys is destined to continue indefinitely. The residents of both countries have been deeply affected by the ongoing conflict, with many families torn apart and entire villages destroyed. As the conflict continues to rage on, it remains to be seen whether the two countries will ever find a way to reconcile their differences and achieve lasting peace.

The assassination of the daimyo of the Land of Valleys has sent shockwaves throughout the ninja world, and it is widely believed that the Land of Mountains is responsible for the act. Following the end of the first ninja war, both countries were engaged in a power struggle, maintaining a fragile balance. However, the Land of Mountains' breach of this balance has led to the brink of war between the two nations.

If the five major nations do not intervene, the conflict may escalate to a war between two smaller nations. If any of the five great nations does become involved, it could trigger another ninja world war. At present, no nation, whether large or small, is in a position to withstand another global conflict.

After two hours, everyone assembled at the main gate and waited for the new daimyo to arrive. Soon, a luxurious carriage arrived and stopped in front of the team. A servant came with steps; placing the steps, he opened the door. The new daimyo, Imagawa Yoshimoto, looked at Toshiro Satoshi and invited him into the carriage for a talk.

Toshiro Satoshi nodded his head and told us to wait for a few minutes before we started our journey. Then he went inside the carriage. Toshiro Satoshi came out after ten minutes, the look on his face telling us he is completely upset about whatever happened inside.

Toshiro Satoshi said, "Let's move out; we must reach our stop before night falls. Hirata and Michiko, stand in front of the carriage and look for the enemy approach. Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru, you guard the rear and left sides of the carriage, and I will take care of the right side of the carriage."

Everyone said, "Yes, sir." Then we continued our journey as planned. The journey passed through many countries and took around one month to reach the Land of Valleys with the way we were traveling.

Now we understand why the leader, Toshiro Satoshi, is irritated after coming out of the carriage. I don't know how a guy like him got irritated by the client.

After one week of the journey, everyone settled in for the night. There are two camps: one for the new daimyo with guards, and the other for the escorting team, which means us.

Why was Toshiro Satoshi irritated on the first day of our journey, everyone knows about it since we learned about it. The new daimyo asked us to become his own personal security team, which was rejected by everyone. Becoming a personal security team means leaving the Land of Fire and migrating to the Land of Valleys.

Suddenly, Hoshi looked at the East and started barking. Sensing uneasiness and fear from Hoshi, Michiko Inazuka took a battle stance. This alerted everyone, including the daimyo's guards.

To analyze the situation, with the Ram hand seal, I used "Kanchi no Jutsu" to observe the threat approaching our way in the night.

Kanchi no Jutsu is a sensing technique that allows sensor-type shinobi to mold chakra and change it to the sensor type. This enables them to detect and track down targets through their chakra signatures.

The range of this technique varies between sensors. In a way, this simple technique is more helpful for me due to my large and mutated chakra resources.
