Chapter 13 Trapped

Max was surprised when he found himself surrounded by fire. What baffled him more was that there was no fire anywhere except the one surrounding him.

"What the fuck" he mutter out loud.

He turned around to see the rest of the coven looking at him strangely.

"It... it's him" one of them spoke out.

"Can someone tell me what the fuck is happening " Max was pist off.

....

"You guys are joking right?"  Max asked looking at the everyone in the room. They all kept quiet not daring to meet his gaze.

"I also, have been searching for this demm girl. I want to her to be found as soon as possible so I can be done with this faze".

"that's not what we meant. Please understand Max " Esme tried to persuade him.

"Oh! So what you mean to say is that I should give you permission to go fuck you my head right. Sorry to disappoint you I think you should look elsewhere" Max stood his ground.

"I will just take a peek to see if you really meant her".

"My answer is still no" Max replied firmly.

"Why won't you let me in? Beside I'm your mother".

"Max please listen to her" Mia joined in.

"I'm sorry, you guys will have to find another way". Max stood up, and walked to the door but before he could step out two guys blocked his way.

"Move" He commanded them but they stood still refusing to step side.

"Sorry Max we can't" they both replied.

Max was already annoyed with his mother's nagging and now this two fools are making him lose his temper.

"I'm sure you don't want to see me angry" Max aura suddenly darken.

The two guys steped away when they saw those familiar black eyes. They've witnessed first hand how dangerous he gets when he is angry and they don't want to be in that position.

"Good" He said before walking out but was stopped again by his mother's angry voice.

"Don't force me Max. I will tie you up if I have to". Esme said angrily.

"Huh" Max glared at his mother who smiled back in triumph before walking inside.

He sat down on a single chair in the middle of the room which Esme stands behind him to start her spell.

.........

"Grace. Grace where are you?"

Malcolm's voice echo as he keeps looking around feeling exhausted. For the past thirty minutes he has been stuck in one of Grace's childhood memories unable to escape. The most annoying part is that Grace is no where to be found. Even though he was angry at her little trick, he can't help but feel proud her as her teacher.  It took his sons a long time to master the act of the mind, but Grace was able to pull this off after just one lesson. "Impressive" he mutter.

He looked around the placeground and the children playing to see if he missed anything. But he gave up after few minutes feeling frustrated.

"I give up. Come out Grace I can't do this anymore. You win" he finally surrender.

"If someone discovered that i was tricked by a little girl, I will be a huge humiliation to me. I can't believe this". He sat down on a bench to relief the weakness in his knees due to old age. He sat there looking at the children playing football when the ball suddenly rolled up to his feet he bent down to pick it up. He was flustered to see little blonde hair wearing a sun flower dress smiling at him.

"Sir, please can you hand me the ball?" The little girl said sweetly to him. Malcolm had a puzzle look on his face unable to fathom what just happened.

"It's a memory, how come she can see me?" He wondered. "Little girl can you see me?" He asked waving his hand at her.

"Of course I can. I'm not blind". She replied.

"Bu... but.. how?" Malcolm said out loud.

"Are you surprised?".
