It was the last class of the day where some woman named Suzanne; a classic mean pretty girl with a temper. With her harsh whispered words I learned that she was the girl who kept the ladies confined to their spot back in the hallway.
As class was more important I ignored her silently whispered threats. She soon got caught by the teacher who switched her seat with the player for talking again during class this month. Seemed to me to be a hobby of hers. Though, I was a bit satisfied that she was still the same distance between the player. For the rest of class she looked dejected.
Wanting to not be the last one in class again, I hurried to leave when the bell rang.
Quickly, I stuff my stuff into my backpack and wore it. Closing my locker with a quick turn of the dial.
The walk back home cleared my mind, and welcomed the quiet atmosphere in the house when I walked in.
Once in my room I locked the door behind me and went to feed Snowell who was meowing for food as soon as I entered.
I kept her food in my closet to be able to feed her quickly.
As I poured into her bowl, I was reminded that I would need to buy another bowl for her sister.
Closing the closet door I went to my backpack that I had placed beside my bed, and pulled out a yellow sheet of paper.
About an hour had passed before I had finished the math sheet and put it back within my stuff.
Watching from my bed, Snowell was racing around the room to get a fly. She proved to be quite entertaining as she jumped up a wall to get to it and only landed back on her feet. Angrily, her tail thumped on the carpet as she sharply watched her prey crawling upwards.
A knock on the door broke both of our attentions. Snowell scattered away as I went to open the door.
The maid told me that I was requested by my step mother to come down to dinner. I replied right away and closed the door behind me, following the maid down the stairs to the table.
Putting on a small smile I asked her how she was doing today. She smiled saying that she was feeling great.
When I first got here I overheard the maids that my new mother had fallen ill. I may not know what type of illness she had, but according to the maids conversation she had been ill before my father married her.
Maybe she was feeling better and wanted to eat meals with me. It did not seem to hard to believe.
"How have your grades been doing?" she inquired when I sat down to join her.
"My grades are doing well so far, mother." She seemed delighted to hear that.
"Your father won't be here to eat with us, so let us enjoy our meal."
I tried my best to eat like a lady in front of her. She corrected me a few times watching with a careful eye that I was doing my best.
After enjoying her meal her step mother said that she was feeling a bit faint and that she was retiring to her room. Some maids helped her up the stairs.
Soon after I was heading up the stairs and into my room. I felt that it was strange that she suddenly appeared to eat with me twice today and none of the times before.
Father was most likely busy on a case and did not come home until two hours later. I did not greet him tonight either, thinking that it would be pointless to do and only dampen her mood.
Currently, I was making a list of things Snowell's sister would need when she comes. So far I had written bowl for feeding as well as a bowl for water and a collar.
My mind then wandered to exercising and looked at Snowell's wheel. I think I should get another one and then I added it to the list.
I decided that it was late and put the list away to continue tomorrow. Placing it down by my clock on the bedside table would do.
Meowing, Snowell picked up one of her little squish toys and dropped it by my feet. Letting out a sigh, I agreed to throw the toy saying fetch as I do. She ran and retrieved it, bringing it back and dropping it when I said to.
I played a bit more with her, admiring how fast I was able to teach her it. She still had trouble listening to sit or stay.
Growing tired I yawn as I throw the toy for the last time. Snowell meow disapprovingly when I stopped playing with her. To please her I petted her affectionately before retiring to bed.
