Sudden invasion

My hearing was like a knife cut from Thea's screeching and crying. I could hear her soft moans and Giselle's unbridled anger so acutely, as if all my locators were tuned to one reception only. If I hadn't made a quick decision, there would have been trouble.

Charles took the Admanian princess out of the room, while Margaret took care of her ward. Oh, these women, it's always so difficult with them, they are jealous, furious and plotting against each other – little devils.

My meeting with Giselle in the greenhouse was not unusual. It was a simple tea party with empty conversations, which I was forced to listen to with an unshakeable interested person. Well, more precisely, pretend to be interested.

I knew that she was interested in plants, so the meeting place was chosen unconditionally correctly. She chatted incessantly, and I already seemed to understand plants as well as our gardener. I can safely change my specialty.
